Option to ignore threads?

If we can ignore other posters, why not an option to ignore certain threads? If a person knows they're not likely to respond to a thread or has other reasons to avoid it, it would be nice to just not have to keep scrolling past it.

This is more of "let's bounce this off the wall and see if it might lead to something" than an actual suggestion, since I wouldn't have the foggiest idea of how feasible it would be or how it would work.

Its an interesting thought but I dont know how possible it is....seems kinda far fetched
