Slow start but wow does this kid have talent. You have to love the arm and mobility. This kid has a great future.

You're telling me. This will be another great run for UM if they can get some OL issues squared away. Wright's only knock is he holds the ball FOREVER. But man does that kid have an accurate arm and he can run! I can't wait to see him get into a rhythm.

I thought by "OT" you were talking about an Offensive Tackle, but after reading, I think you're talking about the QB of Miami Hurricanes?

Kyle has a gun arm and can zip the ball in very accurately even on the run. Of course, if there are 3 300-pound defensive lineman on top of him at the time like last night his accuracy could be effected.

Yeah emphasis on the word potential. He's grean as a new leaf in spring time. Of the 9 sacks he took, at least 5 or 6 were all his fault, as he should have gotten the ball away by then. It got ridiculous to the point where he'd be flushed from the pocket and would absolutely REFUSE to throw that ball even while seeing guys coming right for him to kill him. I haven't seen that kind of thing since Rob Johnson. Can he grow out of that? Absolutely. He also needs to develop footwork on his throws to prevent overthrowing. And, a more consistent throwing motion which will result in more consistent velocity (some of his throws were zips, others were floaters).

But no doubt, put some bulk on that guy and he's got great potential.

PLEASE.....

You guys need to stop bandwagoning these local players.....

I remember everyone hyping up Dorsey, now it's Wright. If I recall, wasn't he sacked like 9 times last night???....How many TD passes did he throw???...

The Hurricanes got spanked last night. L. Coker is a lame duck, and the Canes' fans are stuck with this loser for five more years!!!....LOL!!!!

GOOOOOO GATORS!!!!!

PHINZ RULE!!!!

I think that's an accurate comparison at this point. Why on earth did he take that last sack instead of throwing it away?!?!?!

he looked pretty fearless, which is not always a good thing. i liked the way he looked on the pass to moore on that final drive, but he did get sacked 9 times, about half of those being his fault. his receivers could NOT get open, however. his passes downfield were either too short, or he was lucky they weren't intercepted (or even more lucky with the moore TD catch). overall he tried to do too much by himself, but the talent is obviously there. if we play FSU again this year, i'll like to see how he does

he has tons of talent and his only flaw (holding the ball too long) can and will be fixed, he has a great future
