Well I was just reseraching any available FA playing the oline and I saw a familiar Face OT Todd Wade(redskins) is a Free agent he did play with the dolphins I believe he was drafted by them in the 2nd round. What do you think if we bring him in to the cam cameron system.

First of all what is with the whole Cam Cameron's system thing? It's the offense he used to play in here. There's nothing special to it...

He'd be a good backup RT that's about it. He was actually a solid right tackle for us and I was unhappy to see him leave but his contract was way too much back then.

He isn't much of a guard however.

We do need a backup Tackle. Is there anybody out there that is better than him?

In a pinch... you could move Carey to LT, and have Wade play RT.

Perhaps, Joe Toledo and Anthony Alabi has shown enough that Miami doesn't need to overpay for mediocre FA's....who knows. I have to believe that Miami will take an OL on Day 1 of the draft. I would love to think that Houck thinks he's got something with the youngsters already on the roster.

Toledo did not make it through one preseason game and has been injured like 5 years in a rwo, Im sure even we are not stupid enough to think he is an answer to any other question than to who is on injured reserve. As for Alabi it is pretty suspicious that he has not had much playing time with our line this bad.

Wade is a RT, not a LT. And he's not even very good at RT any more. If anyone on the roster moves to LT, it will be LJ Shelton. But, I think that would be a less desirable option, given how much better he was at RG.

True, Toledo has not show much...neither has Alabi but my point was adding mediocre O-lineman is not the answer. We have no idea what Houck thinks about the young players that we have on the roster but Miami, as an organization, needs to start developing talent not trying to fix things in free agency.

That is why I said that Miami will take an OL on Day 1 of the draft, IMO. Levi Brown, Joe Staley, Ryan Kalil, etc.....all would be upgrades and would come much cheaper than over-hyped, under-performing free agents.

next year we see if Jared Gaithers comes out and has a great year...The next great LT.
