Active Roster
Anyone interesting that maybe we should pursue?
chirp … chirp. Sure would like to see this thread come to life. I'm fairly confident that Boem and Isadora aren't the only OL we'll churn through.
I'm expecting churn, so not all of those 10 will be on the roster as they get replaced by new trialists/journeymen/prospects/reserves.Thats 10 if we include Prince. Not sure we roster much more than that.

I hope that Boehm is inserted immediately and Calhoun to the bench, cut, or practice squad.Im guessing the Tunsil/Deiter/Kilgore/Calhoun/Davis group is sticking (although Calhoun could be a guy they eventually PS if he struggles early.)
Sterup and Reed seem like shoe ins for gameday active backup roles
We just traded for 2 guards and Prince is the other tackle.
I honestly believe this is your week 1 group.
Packers waived OG Justin McCray

I'm in agreement except about Calhoun. IMHO, he's a definite backup OL, and they're most likely very actively looking to replace him with a starter in a late trade/cut. If Calhoun doesn't start I anticipate he'll be a backup. Boehm and Isadora are prospects, who will be checked out and kept only if we can't find someone better. I'd say Sterup is probably safe as T's are very hard to come by at this point. I can definitely see Prince being developed either on the roster or on the practice squad, but because of his potential he may be a risk to attempt to PS as he could get claimed.Im guessing the Tunsil/Deiter/Kilgore/Calhoun/Davis group is sticking (although Calhoun could be a guy they eventually PS if he struggles early.)

Kilgore is a stopgap, Calhoun is a backup, Davis is young, and Deiter is a rookie. Aside from Tunsil and Deiter, I'm expecting this entire OL to get blown up next offseason. Nobody else is safe long term. Davis' versatility means he makes the roster, but starting will depend on how well he does this year.
From someone who watched him at UCF, he ain't no good
So he's good?
