I know some here lurk on them, so decided to take a look before last week's game and after it.

Before game :

Charger fans gave us absolutely zero chance. We were not going to score hardly any points on them and they would dominate because there is no way they will lose 3 in a row. I will say they were a confident bunch.

After game :

This team isn't all that good. Phillip Rivers isn't all that good. The referees cost us the game ( my personal favorite ) . It went on and on.

Lion's board :

Giving us a lot more credit and I'd say there is a 50/50 split on their boards. Our defense legitimately scares them and their not particularly fond of the short passing game.

Tomorrow's game will be defining for both teams and I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, our forums have a lot more of the "rah rah the other team doesn't even stand a chance!" guys than the Lion's forums do this week. Which I find funny, because if I had to bet on a team, I'd probably go with the Lions. I'm just not sure we can deal with their DL at all. Should be a good game though. Well, that, or one of those horrible games where we beat the snot out of each other so badly both teams look awful.

lol the refs cost SD. priceless, you cant blame the refs for 4 TDs. I blame the refs for helping SD in fact. they didnt wanna give Landry his TD and they let Wallace get interfered with on that slant

gibson too but gibson could have caught his slant

Is Bush playing Sunday for them?

Not worried. Tannehill is out rushing Bush this year. Yep. Injury or not, Reggie bounces around and you can't do that to our D. He also shouldn't have "a grudge" on us. We gave him a legit shot at rb and it worked for him.

Megatron+ Tate will be an issue. Here's to Jones balling out.

I noticed that too about the chargers board. I only checked afterward and you'd think they were on top of the world before the game.

You have a surprise coming. Bills fans already (before todays game) chalked us up as a win.
They are pretty sure they are going to be 7-3 by Thursday night.:troll:

I don't get that at all, their running game is toast and it is going to come down to Kyle Orton beating us with his arm and I can only remember Orton doing that once, against the jets.

There was also the play where Ryan faked out the guy in the backfield and ran up and threw the ball deep to Wallace who was on a deep cross. The ball floated and was behind Wallace. The SD player never turned to look for the ball, he just caught up to Wallace and tackled him before the ball got there. It was the worst no-call I have seen in awhile. Absolutely should have been Pass Interference.

Then there was the call that Clay didn't have control of the ball when he fumbled at the goaliine. He took 4 steps with the ball before the SD player ripped it free. The ball went into the endzone and then bounced back out at the 1. It should have been marked at the 1. If Joe would have challenged it they would have marked it on the 1 but it was still a bad call, and it cost us 4 points. We could have probably scored from the one against that defense.

Then there was the obvious PI that wasn't called against Flowers when he tackled Gibson early down on the goal line, early in the game. That should have been a call as well. The point is that refs make bad calls, some times horrible calls. But we got a lot in that game that went against us as well.

Another one that comes to mind is on the 3rd and long on their 1st drive, the play before the 4th down stand, it was a screen to their right, and Grimes was in good position only to get held. He would have made the play way short. It was so bad even the announcer mentioned it. So if they have any beefs with the refs so do we.

I saw that too. If our D can keep this up, I can see him becoming another viable HC candidate also - and here we were all worried about Lazor.

Don't think it'll happen, but it would be a real bummer if we lost both of them (but maybe replace Coyle with The Foot Perv). If that happens, guess it would be the price for success. :idk:
