Well guys we have not yet addressed our NT problem..yeah i know we got Ellis but i see him more as a rotational guy instead of a starter..we all know Ferg is getten close to done so where do we go

Get Wilfork next year???
Draft Suh or Cody??
or is Ellis really the answer???

i personally think Ireland is watering otu he mouth at the NT class next year (well atleast i am :chuckle:) but if ii was the GM i would go after Suh

Cody is just to massive and slow IMO and Suh is the perfect size

So tell me what yall think

:thanks::thanks::thanks: :up:

id love Wilfork, but he'll be 29 next year... draft a stud NT with our first.. Although we'll have to move up from the 32nd spot to get him.

I think NT will be looked at next year, for this year it will be Fergy and the role players. Unless someone really shines this coming year I see them drafting a NT next year. Wilfork I believe is not the long term answer, he's starting to get long in the tooth as well. Plus as a top FA he will demand a huge amount of money to be signed. Think we get better value in the draft.

I think they are buying time with what we have until they find the guy they want.
They prob hope Soliai has a good showing this year but there are not gonna put to many eggs in that basket. Hopefully Fergy stays healthy I think he has a solid year or 2 left

I think Paul Soliai is going to be the biggest suprise this year. I think he will be starting this year with Ferguson rotating in to give him a breather. Soliai has all the tools to physically dominate, he just hasn't got the techniques down yet. But I believe he will be the most improved player on our team.

At the end of the 2004 season the Jests refused to offer Jason a new contract. They thought they could get a "Pro Bowler" NT elsewhere. Parcells wanted him in Dallas but Jason was hesitant because he preferred to play in a 4-3D. At the last minute the Jests woke up and tried to outbid Dallas.

Still not a "Pro Bowler" he did a fine job at Dallas until he tore a muscle.

Still not a "Pro Bowler" he rejoined Parcells in Miami where again he did a fine job on the field and off.

Yes, he is getting up there in NFL years, but don't count him "done" just yet.

According to ESPN rumors, Arizona's Darnell Dockett may be on the move, I don't have insider so I can't read more into it. He's a DT, what do you guys think of that? Do you think Ireland is possibly talking to Arizona about Dockett?

If Dockett was playing DE for us great, not so great at the NT position.. I just think he gets eating up there..

I think it's too early to know what the Dolphins will need in the next draft.

I promise we will need an ILB tho. There are some variables at NT ( Soliai, Cohen, Ellis ) we need a guy who is ready to replace Ayodele. But your right, all we can do is assume right now....
