I know the '05 campaign closed just over a week ago, but like all of you I am really excited for next season. I feel that Nick Saban has brought a level of legitimacy, respect and class that hasn't been experienced since Shula left ten years ago. In the past few seasons (not counting 2004) I have felt that the time had a shot a Super Bowl or conference title, but this time I truly believe that we will be a legitimate contender next season. I don't care what any talking head on ESPN has to say or how little coverage we get, the 2006 Miami Dolphins will turn heads, even more so than we did with our 9-7 surprise of '05. GO FINS!!!! :dolphins:

I'm not the best predictor, but I say we'll go 11-5 if not better...

nicely said. but with the confidence i have in saban, i can at least predict good things

Let's get through free agency, the draft, and any possible coaching changes first.. then we can look closer at a possible prediction for next season..

Right. I'll probably wait until the second day of the draft or just after that to do any predicting, but things can change a lot even after that. June 1 cuts/signings can be big, as can any training camp retirements or injuries.

Kind of early. I can't imagine not improving by at least a game or two. But if we remain status quo in the QB area (Gus), then I wouldn't expect too much improvement. I like Gus better now than 8 weeks ago, but he won't take us deep in the playoffs unless he improves his accuracy IMO.

Couldnt have said it better myself

Ditto. But I will say that saban's recent assurances that upgrading quarterback is a major priority have left me feeling nice and optimistic.
