So we added Bernardrick McKinney, Jaelan Phillips, Adam Butler, Jevon Holland, and Justin Coleman. Only lost Lawson and Van Noy. Phillips and Holland in particular are splash play guys sacks and ints, McKinney and Butler do a lot of the dirty work and are super underrated guys. This defense is going to give teams nightmares

This has been the resounding point all off season.

Many of the fans applauding these defensive additions were bitching and whining over how ineffective and unexplosive the offense was last season. And if the offense doesn’t drastically improve — guess who will be the first and loudest to bitch and whine again?

I love that our defense is top 10. But how top heavy do they have to be? Especially in an offensive friendly era?

It’s not as if we’ve ignored the offense. Will Fuller in FA and Waddle at 6 gives our offense serious juice. With Eichenberg we take a step toward finalizing the offensive line.

In the meantime, we also got Flo + Boyer a couple pieces to scheme with. It’s been a balanced draft so far. I’m sure we’ll see a running back soon.

Oh you're absolutely right! I personally think that RB room is a glearing weakness and would love to see something done about it.

I mean we literally got Will Fuller and drafted Jaylen Waddle not sure how much more explosive you get than those 2 guys. We also got a new RT who projects as a plug and play guy.

Exactly. So the real beef is that we haven't drafted a RB when there are still 3-5 viable backs still available? And I think a couple are better than Gaskins right now. Other than more weapons..what would you have miami do?

I think our defense last season was winning with a lot of smoke and mirrors. Flo is great with Xs & Os, which is a huge asset. But I also think it masked some of the talent deficiencies on that side of the ball.

I agree, especially the pass rush. We had to manufacture a pass rush and it’s why when you break down are sack numbers it was super inconsistent. Jaelan Phillips translating quickly will be extremely important hes someone who can win 1 on 1s and bring pressure opposite of AVG and Ogbah

I want Trey Sermon at 81. I think he’d be a perfect fit. I wanted a top 3 back also and would have preferred Javonte over Holland
