Your not kiding its gettin crazy with how many people keep asking. But anyways its cool hopefully we have a strong draft.
I can't believe how many people think that we gave up this year's 2nd round pick for Culpepper. We already gave up last year's 2nd round pick to Vikings for Culpepper. I can't believe how many people forget so easily.

You have to wonder if people cant even pay attention and know that Miami gave up last years 2nd round pick for Culpepper how much could they possibly know about the people they want us to draft?

Why did this post get one star? This was a very reasonable question for most people who are busy with their lives doing--in all respect--more important things.

Crypt, you are slightly off...we rotate starting in the 2nd round with teams tied with 6-10 record.
Miami Dolphins 2007 Draft Picks:
Round 1: 9th overall - #9th
Round 2: 7th overall - #39th
Round 3: 8th overall - #72nd
Round 4: 9th overall - #106th
Round 6: 8th overall - #177th
Round 7: 9th overall - #217th

There are three teams with 6-10 records and in first round we pick last of that group. We don't jump to the head of the line in the second round, we just move up one spot. The first team jumps to the back. Example:
1st round:
7. Vikings
8. Texans
9. Dolphins
Now, in round 2, the Vikings fall to the last pick, and the Texans and Dolphins move up one spot. So, it looks like this:
2nd round:
7. Texans
8. Dolphins
9. Vikings
It continues like this for the whole draft. The third round looks like this:
3rd round:
7. Dolphins
8. Vikings
9. Texans

Dang, Ok, I totally apologize. Thanks, for pointing this out. We do have the 8th overall in round #2 and not the 7th. Sorry, I have seen it posted as the 7th for so long, I never bothered to check the facts from last year.
