Despite what the result is today and this season, this team is filled with some tough SOB's. I applaud them for staying competitive despite all the major injuries that team has to deal with. I hope Ronnie gets healthy and back to form, we obviously need him. I hope the offseason would do wonders to Henne. I think the future is bright, we definitely need to address some key positions, especially at tight end, WR and our safeties.

Thank you Dolphins, you still have my support!

Your statement did not match your title.
You did not give any reason to support "the fan quit on this team FIRST..."
I sure wishing them to come back after trailing 27-0...even the chance was slim, thats the reality.
You insulted most of the fans here.

I never quit on our team! I watch the games and I buy the merchandise, sunday is Dolphins Day in my house! The Fins need to come out and put up the points they do when they are in a hole

stupidest post.
If i made 3 million a yr I sure as hell wouldn't quit either cu i know my INCOME/SALARY/ JOB is on the line. doens't mean ****, give me 3 million i can do what htey do...run, find a open HB in the backfield flats adn miss the tackle. **** id even run into a linemens *** for 3 million

He might of insulted most of the whining CRITICS on here, and for that, I'm glad. On behalf of the rest of us FANS though, thanks for the post, Vertical.

Meh, are you sure about this? Because our team quit the entire first half. I saw repeatedly guys in our secondary giving half effort to chase down texans wide outs after the catch. I saw linebackers getting mauled especially during the touchdown run up the gut towards the end of the 2nd quarter. Looked like the phins were trying to invite us all to a pity party mid way through the 2nd quarter. If anything, THEY quit first and it didn't appear that TS and the coordinators did anything to get them to think they could win this game.

The looked like a bunch of weekend warrior regular joe flag football players who were filling in for a team on strike in the first half.

I think the coaching staff told the defense at halftime that it's a game of tackle football not touch. The game was over after the first quarter..............pathetic.

Maybe the players shouldn't worry so much about what the fans think and understand that a game is 4 quarters not just 1 or 2. If they would show up for all 4 then they would be in the playoffs right now and the fans wouldn't be giving them so much ish.

bottom line is this team played football in the second half they did not play like they wanted to win in the first half! sparanno fucct this team kicking a 54 yard field goal when the should have gone for a first down, knowing carpenter is not good outside of 40 yards. ricky showed us again why he can't catch the football! gibril wilson showed us again why he sucks droping a pick my 7 year old cousin could catch! Akin Aydoyle showed us again he is slow and can't tackle! the run defense let scrubs gain good yards ! ranch dressen looked like a pro bowl tight end aginst our defense! and tony sparaano showed us he is a poor coach, making dumb decision after dumb decision! the refs screwed us again but it dosent matter cause we suck anyways!

that being said some fans are happy with mediocrity and some are not.. The ones who are not happy with mediocrity and demand changes when things are not working are the realistic ones and laughably, get called out for expressing the need for these changes.. If fans such as yourselves enjoy watching season after season of losing, that is your prerogative, however, I do not and have just as much to say this team sucks as you have to say it is a good team (which realistically it is not)..

As confirmed by your post, I simply cant believe that fans such as yourselves were happy with the Wanny years and moreso the Saban years and obviously agreed with their losing methods.. Not I

On a side note.. Stokley just got ejected..lol

Our Offensive line made guys like 80 year old Jeff Zgonina look like pro bowlers. The Texans were not that much better, but they showed up in the 1st half while the Dolphins went through the motions and played like the three stooges meet the keystone cops. Then in the 2nd half they tried to give us a little false hope only to do their three stooges routine again in the 4th quarter. Guess it's for the best cause do we really believe this team would have beaten either the Colts , Chargers, or even the Bengals in their houses? To the big mouth texan fans, neither will your team if they even make it that far.

I didnt even know he was still playing so when I heard his name called when he sacked Henne is practically threw up in my mouth

I spend hundreds of dollars at a time buying shirts, hats, authentic jerseys, etc. I mean hell even my kids and dogs have dolphins gear. But to question that I gave up on my team, that is out of line. If anything they gave up on "us" because they can't even play four quarters of football on Sunday's. Hell I can half-*** it like Crowder and run around with my head cut off. I can be like Wilson and get burned and drop a fluttered ball. I can play like Peezy and not cover anyone and as soon as a lineman locks onto me I might as well quit on the play because I am done.
