Let's look at it like this, I feel in many different ways we're going to find ourselves a very good player. This team as a lot of holes that we could go many different ways and still be fine.
1. Brady Quinn: We could possibly trade up with washington to #6 and try to take Quinn if he's still there. Obviously this makes sense as of right now, because we don't know if Culpepper is going to be ready, and we surely cannot have Lemon leading us into the season. This could obviously change if we make a deal for Trent Green. But Quinn at #6, saying if we traded up, would be a huge pick up and could finally put to rest the QB carousel that we have had in miami since Marino.
2. Levi Brown: I know this isn't the "sexy" pick but lets face it... our o-line isn't very good and Brown could anchor the left side for 8-10 years. This o-line is a LT and possibly a C away from being a pretty good o-line.
3. Leon Hall: Travis Daniels and Will Allen are both not #1 corners. Hall is a football player however you look at it. Not the fastest, although ran a very good 40 time at the combine, but has killer instincts and is always around the ball. He's physical and can come up and make the tackle if needed. (This saying if Jason Allen stays at safety rather than moving to CB).
4. Laron Landry: One of the safest picks in this draft IMO. Big, fast, physical safety that can come up and light someone up, but still has a good feel in coverage. (Just like the last one, this could change if Allen is going to stay at safety). Bell came on strong last season, and with the addition of Landry, this safety tandem could be one of the best in the league.
5. Amobi Okoye: I don't know if I need to say much. This kid is a freak at his age. He's only going to get bigger and better, and already is the top DT in this draft. And with the age of our DT's, this too would be a smart pick.
(I would throw in Patrick Willis because the guy is going to be a monster in the NFL and I would hate to see the Bills get him, but as of right now, we're ok at LB with Thomas, Crowder, Porter, and even throw in Taylor. I wouldn't be mad with the pick because Thomas isn't going to be around forever, but a few other players could help us more for the next couple of seasons rather than Willis)
