Successful teams don't abandon the run. That **** might work in video games but it doesn't fly in the NFL.
I agree , now we should be a pass happy team , once we establish the pass game , then we work in the run. Not vice versa which is what has gotten us into a " slow " start .
When you run on first and second down and waste two downs to get 3-4 yards , that's where we get these 3 and outs . Get the defense on their toes with the pass game THEN work in the run .
Obviously I agree that abandoning it is an awful idea .
