in 2008 the "top tier" of cbs go like mckelvin, DRC, Jenkins, Aquib
but the guy no one is talking about as an elite cb is Bandon Flowerso out of VT
he is a monster, has the speed to play one on one ( about a 4.5, but in the game you can't get him away form the ball, he has another gier) and can hit with the best of them. if we go jake long with one we can afford to take him at 2a. some people may say it is early but with his potentail talent it is a steal. we can still get a guard in the second (chilo rachal) and a pass rushing de/olb or mlb in the third. our secondary was horrid last season, and even excluding the injuries there is little potential or bright spots in our d. flowers went to a big time school and can play right away, we will need a guy to nuetralize moss and welker in the near future.

I like his big hit abilities. It always helps to have a guy on the edge that will hit a RB in the mouth.

i think we could grab him at 2(b)

#1 OT/DE
#2 OT/DE/LB

in Some Peoples List he is rated the top CB Coming out of the draft on some peoples boards

i like flowers a lot. but he will fall for his size and 40. though i prefer cason as well. but he probably wont be there a 2b. if flowers is(of course depending how is there and who we picked prior) i would take him.

Absolutely no thank you on Brandon Flowers.

Here's a pic from his MySpace page:

He later claimed the pic wasn't his place, it was his buddy's place. OK so that means he hangs out with Coke dealers and is proud of it. I'm sure when he gets millions of dollars he won't get in trouble since all his boys live down here.

This isn't even mentioning the sheer stupidity of posting that on your My Space page when you are an NFL prospect and your whole future and millions of dollars are hanging in the balance.

Just say no to Pac Man 2

so he's a wannabe drug dealer doesn't mean much

lol, 70% of top prospect is around the same thing at some point in their life. its well known in my area a lot of "dope boyz" take care of football players. help keep them out of trouble and ****. the same thing happen to UFs RB out of riverview last year. he said how he gets money handed to him, it happens.

theres a reason these poor kids get big, go off to college, and come back ballin. alot of the dudes are lookin for some get back when they get bigger. i take care of you when your down, you take care of me when you get big.

Nah, another likely 2nd round pick will end up being a #1 CB..

Antoine Cason

Possibly the best coverage corner, been tested in the Pac-10 wide open offenses for 4 years as a starter, needs some added weight to be up there

Check out this video:

agreed. ive said from the beginning i think if hes there at 2a, its to good of value, specially at a need position not to take him. personally i still would go 1. dorsey 2a. Cason(if hes there) 2b. Woodson(if hes there) 3. Anthony Collins(if hes there)

It's pretty rare to have that much cash and blow with no guns. Guns, cash, blow usually leads to bad things and bad situations.

His boys are in Palm Beach. If he plays for Miami, that's where he'll be; hangin out with dope dealers, that's not a conducive environment for making good decisions.

Sorry a couple other things to say about Cason.

Watching the video again, you can see that once he gets the INT, he could easily score. It could be from him returning punts, but he can make people miss like Ed Reed after an interception. Pick six

And did you see the last play? People say he doesn't have speed. He was on the UA track team, ran a combine 4.49, and was on Desean Jackson's hip on that fade route. He is a gamer

Oh and Flowers could be the league's best 3rd CB, with his ability to blitz and pick up the run so effectively
