....in 2007.
The door was half open and we were standing with one foot on the other side of an infamous record: being the first NFL team to go winless in a season.
It was, of all QBs, Cleo Lemons and Camarillo who shut the door, left that honor to the 2008 Lions and made grown men cry.

Sold out but only approx 50,000 people in attendance we celebrated like we just had won the Superbowl.

Including this win we held a 5-2 record over the Ravens since they moved to Baltimore. But it became our curse. Since that day we lost all 4 games against the Ravens (3 at home including our only playoff appearance in 2008/2009).

Sunday we can reverse that trend, solidify our playoff aspirations and put the Ravens close to elimination in the playoff race.

To remember that day in December in 2007:\

Man, I remeber screamin at the tv that day, for Camarillo to run Run RUN!!!

I was at that game, right on the 50, 6 rows up. I remember thinking we were going to lose as Stover lined up for the FG in OT but he missed. Then Cleo Lemon hit Camarillo over the middle and I saw him streak down the field thinking he's in FG range, then when he actually scored, the place went nuts. One of my favorite Dolphins memories.
If Billick had gone for it on 4th and goal at the 1, we'd been 0-16.

It was a tough year. That team was really fighting all year long. I think up to that point we lost like 5 or 6 games by 3 points incl that famous 'mud bowl' in Pittsburgh (0-3). I thought that would have been the game to win. Another 3 games were by 10 points or less. After that loss in Pittsburgh we got clobbered twice. It was like fans and team just gave up. So, that win was so sweet. :hi5:

Actually when Camarilo caught that pass I remember that I was totally silent, hands on my head and all I could think was "run, run, run". That play was almost like slow motion.

remember it like it was yesterday.

what a great moment in what was the most depressing season as a dolphin fan.

the funny thing is, the game should have never gone to ot imo.

the ravens had nothing to play for as well as they were down that year, and iirc, rather than going for a td from like the 1 and a half yd line on 4th down, they went for the tie to force ot.

not saying they would have converted had they gone for it, but i dont understand why a team would kick a fg in that spot when there season is over anyways and they can win it there.

nevertheless, awesome moment, one that will always be remembered as the one happy moment in a season full of misery.

Tampa had a winless season before

I had no cable that cold day in Philadelphia.lol I was watching the game on ESPNs gamecast. LMAO When that screen showed that line go down that cyber field and read TOUCHDOWN, I jumped up and ran through my apartment like a crazy dude. My roommate at the time was like, "what the ****?"lol ON A GAMECAST SCREEN at ESPN.com, was one of my best Dolphins memories of all time.......and we went 1- 15.lol I'm tearing up now as I write this.LMAO

After 2007, I never take a SINGLE win for granted. Every season since then, after we get our first win, I'm relieved. No chance of 0-16.

And Detroit went 0-16 in 2008

Which is funny because you never hear that brought up. You never hear anyone in the media go out of their way to point out the Lions went 0-16. But you bet your @ss if the fins went 0-16, we would never hear the fricken end of it. NEVER

315: your so right, I was so thankful bill lick didn't go for it on 4th and 1. That would have been a killer. I was at the 0-3 lightning delayed Pittsburgh game when Ricky got stepped on ending his season. A season I am glad is a long, long time ago
