Absolutely suck. Fricking horrible. No fill. Slow to the hole. Slow to the edges. Can't cover. Tackle like school girls. Pathetic
 
Yep, I kept saying Sheppard was garbage, but he was also invisible. His real weakness is in pass coverage, where he was exploited. But he presented zero run stuffing today ... was he even in the game? All I know is that once Vigil went in, the gashing runs up the middle stopped for the most part. Was Sheppard injured?

Jenks sure runs fast ... but he was unimpressive today.

The only LB's I saw consistently making plays were Misi and Vigil. Vigil was a bit hit and miss, but Misi was pretty solid. We are going to see a lot of teams targeting our LB's, particularly after the display our DB's put on today.

Grimes, Jones and Brice McCain looked good. Jamar Taylor had a very rough day. But they all looked awesome compared to our LB's.
 
Misi was all over the field today. Especially early. Aside from him they were pretty bad overall. Middle linebacker is such an important position, and other than LG it's probably our weakest spot.

I wouldn't say Taylor had a rough day. He had good coverage plenty of times but was a victim of cousins throwing uncover able passes to hus man. He tackles great and I'm happy with his play

Coverage was meh.. tack on his 2 **** penalties and it's even worse.
 
Vigil is here to stay. The sooner Hull gets ready to play, the better.
 
Misi didn't play poorly, but I was concerned about how he kept talking smack over guys who were down. He's gonna get flagged for that.
 
The defense had a rough day, but they only gave up 10 points and made the play when it mattered. No one is more critical of the defense than I am, but I have to give it up to them because it's not how you start, but how you finish. The D killed two drives in the 4th and help save the game. All you need to know.

They played horribly today....The flow to the ball was non-existent and better teams are going to exploit the weakness at middle linebacker. Vigil didn't make an impact either (should not have had too). I'll try to stay calm because it's week one...............but yikes. 1
 
Well we knew that coming in to the season right.... Nothing we can change now.

He and Jones both need to stop with the standing over guys and saying stuff thing.

Agree. We gave up only 108 yards in the second half and under 50 yards rushing. The first half was ugly, but not the second.
 
tackling was poor. I wasnt impressed with Jamar Taylor. I was impressed with Misi and Vigil (as an undrafted rookie).
