this was the offseason that would make a difference to this team not saying it wont but this seriously kills our team's chances next year and it stinks....soo mad:fire::fire::fire::fire::fire: my luck stinks

Don't be so sure about that. We have a genious as our head coach not pornstache anymore. Stay possitive. Things will work out.go fins:dolphins:

less than 10 million over the cap (including incentives not including the cuts) isn't bad we will have plenty of room after we make more cuts and etc.

The ESPN article is wrong.

im trying to man...just soo mad right now..this kills the nfl and the dolphins..but your saban is still in miami..happy about that

saban will get it all worked out.dont worry about that.i am not concerned with the F/A but im just concerned about the draft.we might not have that much $ to draft alot of players

How do you know that. Just because other sources are reporting that we are 9 under doesn't mean that they are right. I would trust ESPN and their fact checking ability over a local beat reporter.

Because John Clayton of ESPN even reported that we were a little bit under 10 million, as did Clumpy as did Jason Cole. It's just an error.

I wouldn't. ESPN was the first news station that said Saban would turn down the Dolphins coaching offer. ESPN isn't always right. The local beat guys actually follow the team. ESPN doesn't follow anything in particular. They cover all sports and all teams.

Adam Schefter said your 22 million over the cap.

The Bills had double digit cap room which quickly went to about 500,000 over a couple days last year. These incentives cant be calculated until they are reached. I think the same thing that happend to us last year has happend to you this year.

I have to agree, Marino never gets a ring, we go 4-12 in 04 and 05 is one of the weakest drafts in years 04 has Big Ben,Rivers and Eli, 04 HAS SQUAT for QB's and 06 has Lienart Young Cutler we had a chance to add some solid talent this year through the draft and FA, but the CBA is a mess now the teams that usually stink every year are looking like the teams that will get all the talent being released. We just can't catch a break. Then again we did have one little piece of luck....Saban!!

Jason Cole thinks we only had $9 million to trim and that we are under the cap now.

ESPN was likely reporting someones opinion in regards to Saban last year as opposed to this which is an actual fact. And when it comes to something like this I would trust the national media. ESPN has better connections when it comes to this type of thing, they have better experts when it comes to this type of thing. And just because a beat writer follows a team doesn't mean he knows anything about the cap or knows anyone in the orginization who knows anything about our cap.
