Who do you think it will be? I cant imagine if it would be Dan Campbell. "John Fox said Gase was “a master of innovation” and John Elway, the Broncos president, called Gase a “genius.” "Manning called Gase “the smartest guy I know” who has a “photographic memory.”by pcausey3

Have to wonder if Gase will be heavily involved in the O and calling plays. Sounds like that is the way it should be.

Been wondering this too, if that's his specialty, who would he trust to carry it out for him on game day? I could easily see him calling plays like Sean Payton or Kubiak

Had Miami gone with a Mike Shanahan, I think Dan Campbell might have stayed on and maybe even be groomed as the next head coach.

With Gase on board, I don't think Campbell stays. Here's an interesting thought for offensive coordinator...Peyton Manning. Manning knows the system Gates runs and may retire after this season. Just a thought.

We need to find a strong defensive coordinator.

Dowell Loggains, Chicago's quarterback coach.

Gase and Loggains worked hand in hand to fix Cutler.

Loggains will be promoted with the Bears, supposedly.

However, if we land him, I would be VERY happy with that. A couple of years ago when Loggains was the OC of the Titans, I remember thinking he did a really, really good job coaching up Jake Locker. Locker actually started to look like a legitimate NFL quarterback before injuries finally forced him to retire.

Again with someone quoting Elway saying Gase is a genius......if so, why was he the OC in Chicago prior to this morning?

because Elway cleaned house and brought in Kubiak, Gase had an agreement in place to be the HC of the 9ers and then backed out when they tried to force Tomsula on him as DC so he went with Fox to Chicago

The funny thing is...............some spoke the same way about Phillbin. Guess I'm just jaded! :(

Likely because Gary Kubiak wanted to install his own offense.

He followed John Fox to Chicago after Fox was canned in Denver.

Dude I'm so pumped about this now!! Lets get it! What time is the presser?!

Also, Gary Kubiak was Elway's roommate, teammate, quarterbacks coach, and offensive coordinator.

So, you know, they have a history. Just slightly.

If you had a genius on staff, why would you "clean house" to get Kubiak? One of those re-tread coaches everyone keeps talking about.

Everyone wants to put a positive spin on this. The fact is, Elway, and to a certain degree Manning, let Gase go. They can talk him up all they want, but they didn't want Gase as their head coach. They wanted experience. They got Kubiak. And they got the #1 overall seed in the AFC with an injured Manning and Brock Osweiler.

So no one is going to convince me of anything different...Gase was in-house in Denver...and Elway let him go.

Oh stop it already with this pointless bickering.... You just just look for excuses to hate on your own team, it's disgusting.

Elway won 2 damn super bowls with Kubiak using Shannhans system. Thats what Denver is trying to rebuild. It's Kubiaks offense now.

It has nothing to do with Gase.
