McDUFFIE SURGERY?

Wannstedt said receiver O.J. McDuffie recently visited a specialist in New York as he ponders another surgery for a toe injury suffered in 1999. McDuffie has had two surgeries on the toe.

Wannstedt last week placed McDuffie, 32, on the physically unable to perform list for the remainder of the season. ``I think in his heart he wants to play if he can,'' said coach Dave Wannstedt, who said McDuffie is welcome to return to Miami next season.
