I did not realize just how young and inexpirienced our o-line is. Ave. age is 25.1 and the Ave expirience is 3.2 years. No wounder our o-line is playing poorly. with the lack of real talent and lack of experience, it is a wounder they are not worse then what they are. Hopefully with more experience as the season progresses they will become a better unit.

Thats the hope. but by that logic would you say that no matter how good an O Lineman, that we draft next year, is in college that he will still struggle for 2 years?

Young is not the best word, maybe perhaps....Below Average. Man, KC could get running yards at will. We are getting better at QB protection and worse at Blocking.

I think you guys missed that part of my post. I was just amazed at how young they were, but i guess with the way everybody over reacts to each post nowadays i should have expected comments like that. :(

Yeah but that doesn't mean they aren't bad. You can be young AND bad. And when none of them are high draft picks or big-named free-agent signings (other than Carey, and he stinks), being young doesn't automatically mean they'll get better.

I think the hope is that Hudson will be able to develop our line like he did with SD. Last year they didnt have much of a pedigree either and they were very good. Howerver even with him as our line coach I just dont think we have enough raw ability on our line to be as good as we need them to be. A great coach can only do so much.

I for one hope we draft and pick up some people in free agency this has been our weak point for years now.

Well after reading some posts about how the O-line played this past weekend , maybe i was not too far off base, about this O-line being very young and maybe they just need a little seasoning. But I still think the team needs to draft some better talent. Just think what Hudson will beable to do with real talent on the O-line? Could get dominate real quick with a little more talent.

Our OL has developed throughout the year. They're quite honestly, doing a very decent job.

Yes...and Carey has been doing a solid job to whoever said he stinks.

the O line was a bright spot yesterday, i think that is why we dont wanna hear any negative things about them

Look at the date that i started this thread.

4.5 Yards per rush and only 12 sacks this year.

OUR O-LINE IS NO LONGER BAD. EVERYBODY, GET A CLUE.

I dont know if you have been watching games this season... but they are MUCH better this season and have improved dramatically... They are very young and are only going to get better as well as they continue to gel and buy into Houcks system...

they are getting better but we still need an upgrade at LT and center.
