I am really worried about the offensive scheme and play calling. Hopefully I am completely wrong but it feels like we are going to be "winging it" a lot. A lot of trial and error from guys who have been part of coaching on an offense but not necessarily a part of putting an offense together.

How will they game plan schematically week to week? Or adjust at halftime? I imagine there will be a lot of on the job learning.

Hopefully it is a recipe for success.

Actually, they both have that type of experience.

That's not to be a judgement on how good or bad they will be, but to say they are inexperienced is not true, IMO.

Our scheme should be simple AF: use speed burners x2 to pull the defense back and run the ball with a soft box, profit?
2021 is a whole new ball of wax. Don't expect what we saw in 2020. The Dolphins have improved in every way possible.
Calling it now, we make the playoffs
"Lock it up, championship"

Not sure I agree with the whole championship thing this year, but I do expect marked improvement over last year. Will be very disappointed if we don't make the playoffs at least. This is a very young and talented team and may take a year or two to come together, but when we do watch out NFL

I'm guessing you don't remember the whole "lock it up championship" ad for fantasy football?

I can't be that old...

As long as you don't judge them after 3 games, I don't expect bottom-of-league play-calling. They'll be learning just as the players are

I expect a fully tailored offense to what the players strengths are. The plays called, I feel, will be match-up based. Week by week, a different player or group may be used more or less depending.

I like the coachspeak about making a playbook emphasizing each players strengths.

I think because of the versatility of the WR group, so many different packages could be utilized to easily improve the running game.

This is going to be a fun year for both sides of the ball.

Oh, yea I remember it. Been a Dolphin fan since moving to Florida in 1970, through all the ups and downs that has never wavered. Been a long time since we have been relevant, a long time since Marino and 84 when we were just outclassed by the 49ers. Moved from Boston and have never liked the Patriots, it killed me every year that they got away with all the cheating that they pulled. Not to say that they are not a good team but they are not what most believe they are either. Go Phins
