Im not dissing the wildcat but honestly, last year when we whooped a teams A** like we did today it was mainly the wilcat offense that did the damage. Today we whooped the bills a** pretty badly by playing great balance football with less trick plays. The defense and offense won this game and i cant wait till we beat the jets next week....Oh yeah, We finally got a quarterback now

I agree in the aspect that the R&R express is finally living up to its expectations, I'd hope for both backs to get over 1,000 this year...

Our offense has been ok through the first 3 weeks but one thing we did today was score TD's. Our offense failed to score TD's against weak defenses so far this season but I think our aggressive approach (like we took in today's game) needs to continue in order to be successful in this league.

because we have Grove at Center who DOMINATED, Thomas that does a great job and henne back tehre made the DB to sit back an extra couple yards due to his arm strenght.

Noticed how Henne took at least like 5 shots down teh field complete or incomplete it garners respect. Penny would take MAYBE 1 a game if that. Big difference btw DB sitting 3 yards from the LOS or 6 yards from teh LOS.

You mention that Thomas does a great job but he was platooned in the second half...that tells me mgmt wasn't to happy with him and wanted to light a fire under his backside. NOT sure if any of the 6 sacks wer because of Thomas but I'm sure someone will know

Having Jake Grove as well as a healthy Thomas/Smiley makes our biggest weakness from last year a huge strength. However, the big problem this year is the passing game. Anthony Fasano was huge for us last year, and has been nonexistent this year. Ginn has struggled with drops, Camarillo still isn't 100% yet, and Bess does what is asked; get the first down.

So far I am 4-0 on my predictions....I don't think the jets D will be able to shut down our running game. They will slow it down, but one thing Henne proved...3rd and 6 he will KILL you with an underneath throw.

Run blocking makes all the difference in the world. Ronnie particularly has never been a make something out of nothing RB, but when he gets holes he can really do some damage and is very hard to stop. Ricky has been a little better at that, but he is still limited in what he can do without blocking.

While I haven't analyzed the o-line play, I suspect that Donald Thomas really makes a big difference. The guy plays with a motor and that is huge in the running game.

The only time you "whooped a teams a**" last year was against NE. You guys were +3 in the to margin and you returned an INT for a TD. Stuff like that doesn't happen every week.
