Right. There could be some great options at #18, and someone unexpected could fall.

But if Miami is targeting Harris, Jenkins or Oweh, as an example, Grier could likely drop down a little.

But in fairness, the article makes a good point that the next 3 teams need OL. Leaving us with the same player at 22 we could have gotten at 18

Also, If say Harris is available, he would most likely make it to 22.

But the chess game is just as easily as we could trade down to 22 and still get Harris, Pittsburgh could just as easily trade up to 21 and draft him.

But I believe Grier has multiple players in mind, not just 1

True, its unlikely 4 OL go.

However, those 4 teams I don't see drafting players we may necessarily be interested in.

the Dolphins need to stay at 18 and draft the best player on the board at that time. The Dolphins history of trading back to get more picks has been fairly awful. The usually end up drafting a very mediocre player while losing out on more talented players.


Moving from 3 to 6 isn’t that bad because there are 5 or 6 elite players they will have an opportunity to select with that pick. As far as trading down from 18, no thank you.
