Two-year starter that also saw extensive action early in his college career. Had a wrist injury last year which required surgery after the season.
Hard-nosed lineman best in confined quarters. Blocks with leverage, stays square and adjusts well. Strong at the point of attack, turns opponents out run blocking and displays adequate skills on the second level. Fights hard and works his blocks but has difficulty with bigger opponents. Does not move well in space and a better run blocker then in pass protection. Nice guard size and build which give him possibilities down the road. Free Agent.
 
Wasn't there a rule change that said you could keep 6 on the psquad as long as one is a QB?

Is true but it seem like Dolphins are not going to bother signing either Kutzok or Levick to practice squad..For that matter any young qb out in the waiers...
 
My bet is the fifth roster spot on the practice squad is being save for Omare Lowe or Geen, once we bring in another LB or CB.
 
Draper....

Dolphins.com is reporting that Draper is the 5th and final member of our PS. :p
 
What is it about Draper that keeps keeping him around? I vaguely remember something slightly positive about him being said during training camp, but that's it. Nothing else, purely blocking, not enough to take up a roster spot, and with 4 TE's on the roster, he shouldn't be back-up. Oh wait, I guess I just answered my own question considering that both Weaver and Clark are injured. I would guess this is a temporary move until they healed up. But other than that has anyone heard anything else about him and his abilities? He was largely the forgotten man during pre-s.
 
He was originally an OT when he was drafted, and injuries forced his switch to the TE position. Could Wanny maybe want to give him another shot on the OL, now that the TE position seems to be very solid?

After all, he is 280 or so. Just beef him up 15 or 20 pounds, and he would be the right size. Just put him on three weeks of the "Alonzo Mayes Off-season workout plan" and he would be right there. :lol:
