We played our last preseason game against the saints. I dont remember how long our starters vs their starters played. Anyone remember? And do you think we learned anything abou them then?
 
no not really everything was very vanilla for both teams. But Mark Brunell learned one thing. Dont pick on Sean Smith!
 
After 5/6 regular season games the pre-season has zero to do with next week. We need to pressure Brees up the middle, force him to move and get rid of the ball early and tackle in the secondary. I actually feel pretty good about this game. Hopefully the crowd will be rocking. Love the Pulp Fiction sig btw.
 
The only thing we learned in that preseason game was that Joey Harrington really sucks...but apparently not as bad as Sanchize....

What's the word on Roth anyways? Is he expected to come back and play anytime soon? He's off the pup now and practicing isn't he? I was never a big fan of Roth but after watching Taylor run 5 yards behind the qb constantly I'm ready for a change. Not to mention Porter being invisible.
 
They didn't play their starters. That was a very different version of what we are going to see.

Roth should be playing unless he gets traded. He said he could have played last week, but wasn't eligible until the Saints game.
 
The only thing we learned was that Joey Harrington was done in the NFL. If I'm not mistaken, he was sacked about eight times by the second and third stringers.
 
I remember thinking, I'm glad we don't have to face Brees quite yet.
