Utah has a really great kicker and punter named Louie Sakoda. I have seen a lot of Utah's games and this guy is clutch even though he is only around 5'9" tall. We could have this guy handle our kicking and punting and save one spot on the roster for someone else. Here is a nice summary of Sakoda:

Maybe he can come as our Punter but our kicker is having a great year

The Falcons tried that with Michael Koenen two years ago, and it didn't turn out so well. In fact, they would up dusting off Morten Anderson and bringing him in to kick FG's. So, I'll pass.

I like Carpenter a lot more than Fields, so I could live with this and if Carpenter got hurt we would have a guy who can back him up. :d-day:

If he can kick the ball deep on kickoffs . . . then we can replace Fields as punter . . . and keep Carp on FG's.

Carpenter was named Special Team's Player of the Month:

I just wish we had a kicker who could kick it deep into the end zone. I cringe on every one of our kickoffs because we seem to kick it to about the 10 yard line and they run it back to the 40 or 50. The last couple weeks, our special team's tackling has been a lot better.

I don't see carpenter going anywhere either. A PKs job is primarily to make field goals and he does that.

The kickoffs will get better with better special teams play.

That's a great idea...and if we ever had Carpenter go down, we have an instant back-up...

Fields needs to go. We shouldn't be afraid to spend a draft pick on a punter or punter/pk/k if need be. It's that important!
