Could Lamar Miller be our version of Shady McCoy? I personally don't think so, however, Ben Tate or MJD (cheap) could be a viable option. Thoughts?
 
I like Tate, averages almost 5 ypc for his career.

No to MJD. he is busted.
 
No, but Ka'Deem Carey could be our Shady McCoy. Although, I don't think he'll be around when we pick in the second round. I'd be happy with the consolation prize (Tre Mason) however! :up:
 
Absolutely not. Way to indecisive. Not near the same caliber athlete.
 
Miller is a far better option, in terms of versatility in a West Coast/Spread offense, than Tate and the now older version of MJD.

Tate would be a power option and MJD would bring veteran leadership to the position.
 
Shady McCoy is like Barry Sanders Jr.

Miller is just a "guy" with speed. He has ZERO moves on the field.
 
Is it a pipe dream to hope for one of the promising looking guys in this draft with all of our other needs
 
count me in on Tre Mason but I'm assuming he is a 2nd rounder in this ideal draft which he won't be. I would go get Blount pair him with Miller
 
Miller compared to McCoy??? This thread doesnt even deserve a response.
 
I tend to think of Bishop Sankey as a slightly slower version of McCoy. Sankey has quick feet. DeAnthony Thomas would interesting if you paired him with a power back like Carlos Hyde.
 
I like Miller! Not his fault the line was terrible, running plays predictable, and not enough usage in passing game. He can do so much more. And face it, hes going to get another shot to start on this team no matter who they sign or draft.
