Satire within irony within satire...
That's what is great about this site. We get the full spectrum of mental thought paths ranging from low awareness to the true fundamentals of the game all the way to the other side that thinks it's a conspiracy and the evil NFL is behind it all. Just have to sift through it and enjoy it for what it is..lol.
If we play bad... we get the bum, trash, garbage, and other generalized comments to a complex situation.
If we play good... we get the all-pro, pro bowl, greatest ever over-hyped comments.
It's good for a laugh and the occasional gold nugget of knowledge to setup a FF roster.
It was a good win for Miami as a team after a high impact week for what the standards of play are to be going forward. The team responded as the OL played great as a unit. Maxwell played like a 10mil corner for sure! Our LB's looked to be in position for what the call was to be during most points of the game. The DL put pressure on the OL for most of the game. Our running game was not as bad as the stats showed, but showed some signs of improvement.
It's great when you can turn the page... It's even better when you can turn the corner. Can Miami continue to play this well as a whole... probably not as they put together an amazing effort today and it showed on offense and defense.
Don't know if the early season losses are too much for us to handle. But I do know it's possible to put together a run that will at least help build confidence for some of the key players going into next year.
I hope to see more of this type of play or at least close to it for 4qtrs. If so, this will be a fun season to watch, even if we don't make the playoffs.
