i wanted to talk about how pissed id be if the saints were the team to go undefeated, but knowing this is a dolphin fan site, i wasnt just gonna vent about the saints, so i guess i can make this into a thread about these 2 teams, and the 72 fins undefeated season.
now let me say this. im not one to lose sleep, or be extremely pissed if there is a team threatning our record[ besides when the pats did it] but i deffinetly wouldnt mind having it as ours and only ours.
now if one team is going to do it, i rather it be the colts. that organization is classy, peyton manning top 10 qb of all time, very classy, they just take care of business and do what they have to do. they have faced some real talented teams of late who have been desperate, and they have never backed down, whether behind by double digits or not. this team is a respectable team by me.
now on to my main point about the saints. i feel like this team is overated. yes i said it overated. this team has looked so sloppy vs some awful teams, and have faced a cupcake schedule. has any team gotten as lucky as they have? think about just some of the calls they get.
now im not talking about a pass interference call, or a holding call, etc. im talking about plays like the devon bess fumble that he clearly had his knee down, to when colston gets tackled at the 2 and they had no timeouts but the refs decide to review it so they can regroup, to darren sharper getting a phantom td that shouldve been a touchback, to yesterday shiasim missing a chip shot to seel the game, to sellers fumble that his elbow was clearly down,and etc. it rlly frustrates me how this team gets every break there way, when they can easily have 2-3 losses.
now i no some of u may say why u venting about the saints, who cares, bla bla bla, and if u dont want to read just dont read it no need to rip on it, but it got me thinking that a team who is clearly overated, and has gotten every god damn break and call there way this year will be the team to be in the books with us got me upset.
ive stated that im not so big on the undefeated season and if its broken so be it, but i rather a respectable team like indy, who is just a good team, has faced adversity, hostile enviornments, good desparate teams, and yet still win have it, rather than a overated saints team that dosent play good d besides the pats game, plays in a weak confrence and has had an easy schedule.
if u want to comment, do so, but no need to rip it, im just frustrated bc this team can join us and shouldnt even be in this situation to discuss bc they rnt as good as there record.
