Does anybody know how close they are to signing the rest of the draft picks? I don't get a chance to go on dolphins websites that often, and I really hope there are no holdouts. I would like to see all the rookies there when I go to watch the team at traning camp. So does anybody know their status?

Haven't heard a word. It seems that the higher round picks are signing slower this tear, could just be my perception. If they are signing slower this year I would imagine it has something to do with the lack of a current CBA and there is more to hashed out contracturally.

Yeah time is slipping away, I am trying not to get worried but would like to hear some news. I mean Clemons was said to be a close to signing a few weeks ago and he still isn't in the fold. We need to get these guys in on time. Can't afford to have any of them late to camp.

Clemons is the only one there has been news on and he was close to signing and then about 4 guys before him that there was no news on. The current regemie likes to keep things quiet and maybe the reason Clemons is unsigned is that his agent leaked the information out to the media regarding the signing and phins are trying to punish the agent for going public on Clemons signing.

I'll bet Smith signs next for somthing in the range of 4 years 3.5 mil with around 2.0 garunteed.

The CB's and Turner are obviously the main concern. They need the full time in camp. Thankfully, once Smith signs - assuming they'll sign him before they sign Davis - there will be a lot of pressure on Davis to sign so that Davis does not fall behind too far.

i think they just started contract talks with Vontae this week same with Sean Smith

Davis will be later I think. Look at it this way; There are only 2 teams that have thier 1st rounders signed.

No need to hit the panic button yet. I don't think Clemons is a concern at all, since as mentioned above he is very close to a deal.

Teams have been slow to wrap up 2nd and 1st round picks and deals should start happening next week. Once one signs it will be like a domino effect. A team like the Bills are at a disadvantage because they start camp a week before everybody else. Their picks likely won't be in on time.

I'm no contract guru, but I'm pretty sure Smith will get more than that. He's been performing at a pretty high level so far.

His performace in shorts means nothing as far as what he'll get paid. It's going to depend on what the guys drafted near him get paid. I don't think Davis signs until more 1st rounders deals get done to set the table.

It's got nothing to do with OTAs at all. It has to do with what he demands and what other picks get. Look at the next highest CB signed. The team is not going to pay him more than that. Then, look down below him. He won't go below that. It's just bracketing.
