To be clear: Vote for ONLY ONE option per player. Bear in mind what kind of numbers you're giving Tannehill too. I am using last years numbers for each player to compare.

I averaged Camerons and Matthews numbers for obvious reasons. I gave Parker numbers similar to Landrys rookie campaign.

Ok guys. The reason I'm doing this poll is because of this article here.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...eral-damage-18-veterans-hurt-by-the-nfl-draft

Now I know its not anything to be worried about. But really? Jennings might not make the team? Is this guy serious? Anybody think that is even possible? I mean...I just cant fathom it. I mean we paid pretty good money, he is the only real vet we have, and hes the PERFECT vet to mentor. This guy must be smoking something or have absolutely no clue about the Dolphins OR Jennings.

Anyways...realizing that we do have quite a unit, I figured lets see what numbers we think each will put up.

fairly low as I think Parker, Stills, Jennings, Landry, Cameron and even Sims will all get a good amount of passes, so good for the team, good for the QB but bad for egos

Could see a few of our receivers with 700/800 and 4/5 touchdowns. I have a sneaky feeling Stills will lead yards and Cameron will lead touchdowns (if healthy)

An issue I take with the article is this

6 + 7. Greg Jennings and Kenny Stills, Dolphins receivers: Jennings surely saw an opportunity to start in Miami when he signed late in free agency. The drafting of No. 14 overall pick DeVante Parker will make that assignment tougher. Second-year pro Jarvis Landry is locked into major snaps, meaning Jennings or Stills could wind up on the bench. In Jennings' case, he could be battling just to make the team.

Well not really, if they assume Jennings is fighting for a spot then that means Stills is starting opposite Parker. Either the writer doesnt know Landry is a slot wr or he thinks Matthews is starting.

This is a difficult poll to predict, because I think the receivers will all have decent years, but I don't think Tannehill will throw for 5000 yards. I would think that Landry and Parker will be the top 2 receivers for stats purposes.

I think Landry will end up being the leading WR again...his ability to work the middle (Tannehill's strength), his report with the QB,and him being just damn good.

I also wouldn't be surprised Jordan Cameron put of good numbers either.

Parker is a rookie and will go through some rookie things....that 700 number seems like a good finishing point....I know some will be disapointed, but this is a good group of players and so many passes to go around.

I feel like Stills and Jennings are the odd men out, both will play the number 2 and will be on the field when we go 4 wide. Again I think the 700 mark is where they will end up...

In the end...I think you could have 5 players with around 700 yards and only one top 1000...

I predict that all our major receivers will get around 800 yds..

- Kenny Stills: ~800 yds

- Jarvis Landry: ~800 yds

- DeVante Parker: ~800 yds

- Greg Jennings: ~800 yds

- Jordan Cameron: ~800 yds

It'll be a balanced passing attack.

Devante - 65 - 1000 - 7
Landry - 90 - 1100 - 6
Stills - 50 - 850 - 4
Cameron - 65 - 800 - 10

Tannehill takes a big step forward and throws for 4700 yards total.

Hopefully not as high as many will project. We need to run the football significantly more than we did last year.

Good poll, I like the idea. Was disappointed not to see Dion Sims included, though. I think we will use more 2TE sets than people realize.

I selected Landry and Cameron as the guys who I think are most likely to go over those projections. Cameron because we like to throw to the TE a lot and he is much more dynamic and threatening than some people give him credit for. If he starts at least 14 games, I feel pretty strongly that he will have a monster year. And Landry... well, he did better than those numbers even though we didn't really start using him a lot until after the first quarter of the season.

I think Stills, Mathews and Jennings will all be less. Parker, Landry and Cameron will be more. Parker is going to top 10 TDs I think

Devante - 65 - 1000 - 7
Landry - 90 - 1100 - 6
Stills - 50 - 850 - 4
Cameron - 65 - 800 - 10

Tannehill takes a big step forward and throws for 4700 yards total.

Only 5 teams had 2 1,000 yard receivers last year and there were only 23 total 1,000 yard receivers in the league last year. Also only 11 WR have gone for 1,000 yards in their rookie season in the last 20 years. I think you vastly over estimated for Parker.

i love what we have with our WR/TE core... great job office people in Miami... lots of chances to develop this offense nicely for our future!!!

but i still miss Charlie Clay. :boohoo:

Lets "get Real"

Parker 1500
Landry 1350
Stills 1100
Jennings 950
Cameron 1100
Matthews 550
Miller 220
Ajayi 400

that about right....Madden 2016!!!

For the first time since I can remember, we are stacked out the a$$ in WR's. Mostly young WR's too which is awesome

I agree. That list of our WR's makes me want September to be NOW.

I'll go off track from the basis of the thread and say Tannethrill will have around a 4,000-4,200 yard season but with more production in the TD dept. (35). I know it's not the point of the thread but the individual production of the WR's is not important.

I don't want to see RT17 throw for 5,000. Not that he couldn't, but the imbalance would be to the teams detriment.
