Can't lay the blame on anyone person in particular, Defense played their hearts out but when the D hands the O the gamne and they flop it takes all the heart out of it. Cosnidering we were playing against the worst D in the league we looked awful, Culpepper looked better without pressure but still far from impressive not accomplishing much more than short gains to the outside. Welker once again is the star, seems like the only guy really playing his heart out. Chambers and McMike had a couple nice catches nothing spectacular nothing to get excited about all around the board. Most disappointing play of the game would be Malarkey or Saban on the gadget play for the 2 ptr to tie the game. Just run the damn ball, your playing the worst D in the league you dont need gadget plays...

Very frustrating game, I give my heart to this team but they continue to break it every week, team didn't look this bad when Wanny was here, WTF is going on

In my opinion the whole team is out of sync. there is no rhythm, it just seems real choppy to me. i think we need more no huddle offense because it seemed to me that's when they finally found their rhythm. i don't believe that two point conversion was all that bad. from the rear angle it would have been completed if booker didn't fall down because it was coming right to him. the embarassing part was when they flashed the stat that housten has given up an average of 483 yards per game and we had 133 yds... yikes... oh by the way our o-line just gave up two more sacks on the plane ride home...

The Dolphins can't continue to play without a sense of urgency. Good teams beat up on bad teams by attacking them. They should have attacked Houston in the 1st quarter. Of course, we're not a good team right now. Our guys need to feel like they are behind in the 1st half. Waiting until the 4th quarter to become aggressive... that's just poop.

There is nothing good to take away from this game. Miami just lost to one of the 3 worst teams in the league. So, what does that make the Dolphins?

Miami's Offense is just terrible. Horrid play calling (2 pt. conversion?????) terrible O-line and Culpepper is indecisive. Where is the sense of urgency? Where is the fire? I don't see anything from the players or the coaching staff. Same old, same old.

Make no mistake about what we just witnessed...Houston outplayed the Fins in every facet. I did not expect this by any means but we truly are awful. I don't see how we don't start 1-5. I'm not giving up but it is becoming more and more apparent that we are just flat out a bad team.

The reasoin we do better in the no huddle is because there is less interference from our coaches. The gadget on the 2 point conversion was a bad playcall even if it was executed perfectly simply because you are facing the worst defense in the league if there was ever a time to pound it up the middle or even play action fake up the middle and have Culpepper sprint to the outside with a reciever leading him that was it but to call a gadget play with the game on the line is just plain ridculous even for a highschool team.

We are playing College ball in the NFl, it's dissapointing to say the least.

But who said we are a good team ? I see a 1-3 record and the worst offense in the league. :shakeno:

The offense is appalling. They look like garbage. Saban has had 2 years to re-make this O-line, which is either the worst line in history (Can't run or protect the passer) or Ronnie Brown stinks and Culpepper just doesn't know when to throw the ball away or take off running. I get naseaus watching this offense. Now being that I have Sunday Ticket I get to watch other games and it is obvious that we have the absolute worst execution in the league. Watch Peyton Manning throw downfield...it's a thing of beauty. I haven't even seen one throw by Culpepper to get me excited. Anyone with delusions that this team can make the playoffs is in la la land. I long for the offensive explosion that was Jay Fiedler.

We have tried the no huddle earlier in games, it just does not work. Cpep racked up some stats against the prevent.

The fact that we would even try going to a no huddle early in the game just points out how bad the coaching really is. Man this team is just terrible...there is nothing redeeeming from this game...our season is over...

Everyone was so hyped up for this year and now it's becoming just that - it was all HYPE! I will never give up on the Fins but the need to seriously look in the mirror and tell themselves that they don't like what they see. Time for some changes.

Amen, sorry Nick Saben and defense, but its all true.

I think part of our problem is we keep making so many changes all the time there is no consistency between coaches, coordinators, QBs, etc.

That's too bad. All other teams face the same challenges as we do and correct them in the offseason. This year we have been miraculously healthy and yet the offensive personell are still terrible. Time for someone to take initiative and get this straightened out.....I don't care if the entire practice squad plays on the O-line.......something needs to be done. And oh yeah, it's time to change your avatar.

Bluehaze - going back yesterday we were discussing defense - I thought they did an incredible job all day - then crumbled on the last two drives. Will Allen had a great day, problem I still see is the safeties being lost out there. Just wanted to ask you again - do you still think that our secondary is worst than last year - cause I see definite improvement??? We were playing against two great receivers today and a helluva QB no matter what people think of Carr. Just wanted your opinion on that to see if you do think there is some type of improvement, cause you told me they were worst off than last year.

By the way - I couldn't agree with you more on that 2 point gadget play - WTF was that?? I had my mouth open in shock at that playcalling!! And ofcourse the onside kick slipping right through our hands broke my damn heart!!! Hurts to be a finfan today in the utmost!!!

I disagree. Other teams change coaches. Two teams with new head coaches beat us already. Other teams changes players...even bringing in injured ones. Drew Brees seems to be doing OK.

Either our team was a lot worse off from the Wanny years than anyone realized and its going to take a while to replace all the Wanny players on the roster.....or Nick Saban isn't nearly as qualified to be a NFL head coach as most people thought.

Either way, it looks like we have a while to suffer.
