I don't know that anyone listens to him....but for the first time today, I found the Howard David show on the internet. I live in PA so I'm tired of listening to ESPNradio or the local Philly crap during football season.
Anyway, he has made some good points today. Most notibly a point that I made in another thread about the talent level on this team. He said he doesn't care what anyone says, this team is not as talented as some think. I happen to agree 110%. And with that, the lack of talent means they cannot afford to miss opportunities like they did yesterday between the missed field, fumble by mcMike and not captializing on the 1st and goal in the last minute of the game.
Sometimes the truth hurts, and I'll admit I personally overrated this teams overall talent. I didn't expect to contend for anything this year yet we've been very competitive throughout most of the season. Part, not all, but part of the reason why we are losing these tight games is because we are missing the game-breaking type of player on both sides of the ball. I think Ronnie will be one and McMichael can be one if used properly.
Sucks not winning, but that'll come in the following years. The Dolphins will get back to their winning ways, may take a year or two, but we're gonna get there............BOOK IT!!! Everyone just hang in there, stay positive and please be patient.
