How about Drew Olsen...UCLA.

218 comp 322 atts 2909 yds 67.7 comp% 30tds 3 ints 172.5 rating

He could be one of the most over-looked QB's coming out of college....with all the hype going to Leinart, Cutler and the Juniors.

11/25/05 - QB Drew Olson's big game against Arizona State -- 22-of-27 for 510 yards, with five touchdowns and no interceptions -- propelled him to the top passing-efficiency rating in the country (172.47). Olson has an astounding touchdown-to-interception ratio of 30-to-3, which might earn him an invite to the Heisman ceremonies in New York.

He came back after tearing knee ligaments in last year's Las Vegas Bowl to beat out highly touted recruit Ben Olson (no relation) and lead UCLA to a 9-1 record, 6-1 in the Pac-10. "It's fun to have a season like this and really show what I'm made of and really that I can play this game," Olson said.

If I remember correctly....didn't Aikman play at UCLA also?

I haven't seen much of olsen so i won't comment but yes aikman did play at ucla

Aikman signed and played for OK then transferred to UCLA with OK blessings.

Yea i heard about this kid.. he seems like he might be the real thing. Im really hoping the Dolphins dont go for a Linehart or Young. Young MAY be okay but i know Linehart is going to be another Kenny Dorsey. Very smart and excellent college player but doesnt have the athletic ability for the NFL. I hope we target Brady Quinn or this kid Olson.

Well, being from Southern California, I got to see Olsen a lot. Even before this year. This has been his sole solid year, and while I think it is the real deal, it may be just a one year wonder as well. However, he has led some amazing comeback games in which UCLA won each time. He looks very solid, patient in the pocket, great mechanics. I wouldn't mind getting him in the draft.

I said it in a thread last night, the only way we get a shot at Brady Quinn is if he declares and if we trade up in the draft to get him.

I think if he does declare, many people will agree to take the risk of trading up to get him. He could be the franchise QB we have been looking for since Dan.

So you dont think we are going to have a top 7 or 8 pick? Do you think Quinn is going before Leinhart or Young?

Maybe he could be next years Kyle Orton.......A Guy who did very well in College but kinda fell under the Radar and then does very well very quick in the NFL??? Sounds good anyway if Miami were to pick him up. Anyway does anyone have his bio, or any physical stats on this guy........Height, weight, arm strength, 40 time, etc...... I followed College as closely as I usually do, and haven't seen him play one game

I don't know how to copy stuff and bring it here but he's got more than 5000 yards with 30 td's and 23 ints before this year. That's what I just read on his bio.you can get the official page of the ucla team and they list every player and their stats...sorry that I don't know how to give you a link

6'3" 225 Decent arm strength...not a great runner but moves well in the pocket.

Possesses the ability to process information quickly, throws accurately and is poised in the pocket.

Seems he has all the qualities one looks for in a QB.

I'm not exactly sure where we would be picking. Assuming Young and Quinn both come out, they are pretty much a deadlock for the 2 and 3 spots...just don't which goes where.

I can't find 40-Time or Positives and Negatives yet, but here is a link that will give you a little more insight on his stats.
