Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way but, we can't have a coach hat just sits there with a duh duh face when our team is getting our asses handed to us. Zero emotion out of this guy, your not going to get a tough physical team when our leader isn't out there pumping up this team and actually acting like he cares. Not saying he needs to be a Pete Carrol or Jim Harbaugh but show some emotion out there. And second! Philbin is suppose to have this offensive mind, doesn't show it at all. If your too stupid to sit there and allow Sherman to call games like this then you deserve to go along with him. If they wanna blitz the house every down, throw some screens. Spread out the D with 4 or 5 wides and force them to play in space. Yet we sit there with 2 backs protecting (neither one can protect if their lives depended on it) and you sit a athletic QB in Tannehill in a pocket like a statue and watch him get killed all day. Coaching staff sucks, play calling sucks, o-line sucks, and you let the one guy that could go and make plays go to Chicago for 2 guys that are giving us 0 production. It's going to be nice watching this coaching staff and front office crumble at seasons end. Can't get excited watching crap like that.

Philbin isn't going anywhere, but I do agree the lack of preparedness in a few games this year is inexcusable. One game? Yeah it happens. Two? It's a problem. Three or more? Can't have that. The sad thing is he has some games where he's really good, but in this league, you cannot tank three games a year. The margin for error is too tight.

I don't know what the answer is, Coyle has been hot and cold, Sherman has called some really good games then some head scratchers ... it just seems likes it's part of this staff's make-up and we can't win consistently like that.

You'd prefer he yells at people or something?

I don't think Philbin will be gone, but I do hope that he is pressured to relieve certain portions of his staff.

He is pretty stoic. But I don't think he is necessarily the problem. IMO, it's the coordinators who need to get their respective units fired up and into the game. I am a little disappointed, however, that Philbin doesn't show any emotion whatsoever.

Exactly what I've said in other threads. He's an OK coach. But I've seen nothing to make me believe this team will be anything more than middle of the road under him. His teams come out flat or unprepared far too often. This team didn't even compete today. With the playoffs on the line, against an undermanned opponent playing for nothing but pride, that's the kiss of death. If you can't have your guys ready to go in this position, you've got problems.

Jury is still out on Philbin. You can't get embarrassed in a must win game.

Yes, I would, show some damn emotion instead of that stoic, blank dumbfounded stare and no sideline coaching. This isn't the first game we were out coached, outplayed, and unprepared...it's a pattern IMO.

This was on the offense and with this o-line we are going no where. We need to fill a lot of holes and changing HC and GM every year is not the answer. Young teams play to their level as the fins did all year. I still want to give this crew one more year together to see if they can get over the hump.

Yea just like Tony Dungy, he should be more like Tony Dungy in his day...o wait..
In my opinion someone who can stay calm and collected until the game is won proves to me to have the mind of a leader, I don't want a coach jumping around, screaming like Rex Ryan at a Sock Convention

He isn't going anywhere...we have to suffer one more year before the house cleaning!
