<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/9">ESPN.com's John Clayton reports the Green Bay Packers visited with free agent LB LaVar Arrington (Redskins) Monday, April 10. Signing Arrington or free agent CB Charles Woodson (Raiders) may be what QB Brett Favre is looking for before he commits to playing the 2006 season. Arrington left without an offer while the Packers decide what to do. Arrington was excited enough about the visit that he wanted to talk to Favre.

If they can sign both Charles Woodson and Lavar Arrington, then I see them drafting TE Vernom Davis at #5. Green Bay has the cap to overpay Lavar. They still need to solve their WR issues; running back isn't much of a problem. Green can still carry the load.
