Packers release FS Darren Sharper

Len Pasgubellie says that Sharper is meeting with Minnesota friday. Not good. They have tons of money and a need for defense. We shall see. Keep your fingers crossed

Minnesota isn't a good sign, but at least it isn't Detroit. Hopefully their ownership situation will scare him off or mean they won't get a deal together for him quickly. Let's hope he doesn't go out to Denver or hit Atlanta, though. I have bad feelings about them, too.

So I guess it might work out for Sharper and Darius to both be out there, fair game for both. Also, old man Knight can take an open S spot for another team, possibly the Chiefs, heck send him to MN. I'd take Sharper, he may have to get rid of those dreads though.

We have the top 5 defense in the nfl every year , and one of the worst offenses . It sickens me every year to always listen to defensive signings and picks.I know cap is a major factor, but we need to even out talent on both sides of the ball. This year is different because of saban. I think he has addressed defense thru free agency except for safety. Our starters are set.
