8 week timetable for Pouncey

Maurkice Pouncey, the Steelers’ All-Pro center, is expected to miss eight weeks because of an injury to his left ankle sustained early in the 24-19 preseason victory over the Packers Sunday at Heinz Field.

Mike Tomlin would confirm only that the injury will require surgery, but some of Pouncey’s fellow offensive linemen told our site that the matter is serious enough that he almost certainly will miss roughly half of the 2015 season.

Pouncey was seen leaving the locker room with a hard cast on the ankle.

The packers have rodgers, lacy, cobb and a few young recievers (including Adams who apparantly we wanted more than Landry) who will step up.

This will hurt but they will be ok

Just saw, no timetable for return but probably missing at least first part of the season.

Pouncey's injury looked the part though. had his leg rolled up. Nelson though. planted his leg and gave in.
