http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxIAwl7VsDg&feature=related'94 playoff game against the chargers, easily the most crushing dolphin loss ive ever had to deal with. sophmore in high school at the time, was the most depressed kid in school for the next 2 weeks. i remember just lying in my bed after the game and not leaving my room for the rest of the nite. im from nyc so all my friends were either jet or giant fans so that didnt help either. i remember playing nintendo during the afc championship game the following week, was just too painful to watch that game knowing it should have been us!!for whatever reason my dolphin fandom was at its peak in '94. marino was back and healthy after the achilles injury, i was old enough to follow every game and live and die with every play, by the time the playoffs rolled around i could barely sleep from the excitement. i couldnt even watch the final stoyanovich kick, had to listen to it on the radio, never saw the replay until stumbling across the youtube video today, absolutely brutal. high snap killed us, all these years ive never forgiven stoyanovich for missing that kick, but it wasnt totally his fault. also hadnt seen any highlights of the game since watching it live. refresh my memory, what was the bonehead play keith jackson made in the 4th qtr? didnt he fumble the ball on purpose or try some forward lateral bs play?

I remember that like it was yesterday. It crushed my little 10 year old heart. But why bring this up now when the team is on a winning streak?

The Monday Night Miracle vs the Jets was much harder for me to cope with...And I watched both.

no way!!! cant compare a regular season loss (as bad as it was) to a playoff loss. the regular season finale in '02 against the pats is comparable cause that was like a playoff game, do or die. we still went on to win the division in 2000 after the monday nite debacle.

didnt plan to, was watching some marino videos on youtube and happened to stumble across the charger game. has there been a more crushing dolphins loss in the last 20 years than that? ive been a dolphin fan since around 90/91 and for me its #1 by a landslide. '92 afc championship game was bad but at least we got blown out

I was also 10 at the time and watching it at my dad's house... I cried.

That was the last and only time I cried at a Dolphin game.

ya what a heartbreaking game. all i can say is thank god i was only 4 years old at the time bc if i was at the age i am now and as avid of a fan that i am now, i wouldve been so devestated words cnt explain. i was devestated after r week 5 loss to the texans this year and thats only a regular season game in week 5. i cnt even imagine to begin to fathom how devestated i wouldve been.

I have to say, when we all knew Marino was nearing the end of his career and didn't have many chances left.....

do I need to say more?
