Quite happy with this one.
I really want a corner with one of our seconds unless we can grab Dwight Lowery in the 4th.

Still way off in rd 1 IMO, let alone the top 5.

I will however overlook all that since you mention Jabari Arthur as a UDFA to keep an eye on.

Two DE's within the first 3 rounds and zero linebackers?

All teams beware,..it will be EXTREMELY easy to run the ball right up our gut..all freakin day long... LOL

EDIT: Sorry Major, all mean and no constructive critisizm.

Change the 3rd and 4th to Crable or Bell and Red Bryant, and I really really do like this draft...

Oh, and maybe throw Matt Flynn in at the 6th...

Long will play OLB

Moore will play DE

You could argue TE in round 3 and Okham in round 4.

I tell you its hard to please you people

Thanks GIK for the thread delete and thread title

The problem with mock drafts is the Dolphins have so many needs but a scarcity of picks.

Now once FA begins it should clear it up to some degree.

if jets have j.long fall into their lap and have dbrick and jlong on the outside i will fight someone on spot.

I don't see the Rams picking Gholston. I see him going to the Jets or the Pats. I know everyone seems to be on the "Jake Long is a RT" bandwagon, but didn't he just come out of the combine as the top tackle? I don't think he gets passed the Rams or Chiefs.

I like our draft, but I would substitute Flacco for a CB. There will still be plenty of solid CB prospects at that 2b pick. No need to wait until the last pick to take advantage of what is a very deep draft at corner.

Nooooooooooooo.
I would hate to see DRC go to the Patriots, I really think this kid is gonna be the next big thing and we would be screwed if we had to play against him twice a year.

Totally agree here, JLong will be unlucky to make it past the Rams, let alone Chiefs. I just dont see any way Clady goes ahead of him. He has clearly seperated him from the rest at the combine, "potential" of Clady and all.
Gholston doesnt seem like a good fit with the Rams either, he seems best for a 3-4 defense. I think the Rams take whichever Long we dont.
And wow, Kenny Phillips taken one spot above us, that would totally suck lol. Got to think the premiere safety in the draft goes before that though.

Not bad. But maybe the 2nd round is early for a QB. We should get a CB or a DT.

So Jake Long is a workout warrior whats your point? Ryan Clady may not have the Strength like Long but his footwork is the best in the class. Clady could play RT 1 year and be a franchise LT while J. Long would struggle on LT.

Gholston is clearly more comfortable playing 4-3 DE. He can fully utilize his Strength and speed to just dominate.

He may go to Minnesota or the Redskins but he struggled at the combine in terms of footwork and turning the hips.

Don't buy into the hype of some players. ESPN tends to blow up players like McFadden and what not. You know I'm begging to think we take Carl Nicks at 32. Guy is a mammoth of a tackle.

I'm really excited for this years draft.

Btw isn't it best that Gholston doesn't goto the Jets or Patriots?;)
