I'm coming live to you from Charlotte NC where all I've been hearing over talk radio today is how the Dolphin game should be a sure win especially with Ronnie Brown unlikely to play. It's like they are just skipping over this game and the Jets game and thinking they are in position to get a Wildcard berth. All I'm hearing is how D'angelo and Stewart will run all over us. I called one of the local radio stations pleading with them to overlook us and that we will be ready with or without Ronnie Brown. I brought up the fact that Jordan Gross will be out as well and that we are indeed a physical team. But trust me when I say that no one here is taking us seriously. I can't wait until Thursday night because I'll be on the 50 yard line on the Home side decked out in Aqua and Orange. I'll have my popcorn ready for this one!!!

I think Panthers have the better hand and not because brown is most likely out. Our defense is committed into stopping the run and these last three games our run defense has been awful. To add to it our pass rush is so just sad.

This is going to be a dog fight and we thought the Tampa game was ugly. This forum board is going to be really ugly Friday win or lose. I predict if we win this one it will no more then 3pts. I hope our d is ready cause we are going to need it.

And the Miami fans are convinced of a win against the Panthers. What kind of fans would they by if they thought they would lose?

Thats not the point. Of Course a fan base should go into a game expecting to win. But the disrespect comes in when the fan base thinks that they should obtain that win just by showing up and respecting the fact that the other team is coming to win as well.

Half our fan base thought we would kill Tampa, i said 27-20 dolphins, and Panthers thinking that they would kill us are wrong too. This will be a close game.

I expect for the game to be ugly as well. I do not expect for us to come in here and blow this team out. Heck, I don't go into any game we play expecting to blow a team out but I do go into every game thinking we will win because I feel that we have the potential to. This is a very good matchup that favors our defense in my opinion. What has been our biggest achillies heel? Stopping the pass...And the offense here has been watered down alot because of the distrust in Jake Delhomme. But it will be a fight b/c the Panther defense is improved but the loss of LB Thomas Davis will really hurt them in this game. Julius Peppers has a broken hand which slowed him yesterday as well.

Make no mistake, the Panthers are going to lineup and run right at us. But that is exactly what I want them to do. We play very well against known running situations so I like our chances there. Henne just needs to be smart with the ball and I think we will be just fine. The Panthers run a classic Cover 2 and there won't be any surprises. It should be a war IMO.

Agreed, hey how good is the Panthers pass rush and pass d in general?

Well, they're stupid for thinking this will be an easy one. Yes, we lose an element of our offense without Brown, but hell, Ricky ran for 102 yards yesterday.

And Vontae is going to make Delhomme look like he's the rookie.

This is going to be a monster game.

Henne has to play well and the rookie corners need to step up.

Hopefully the short week won't be an excuse come game time.

They would be foolish to overlook us, but the same goes for us as well. A few weeks ago this was shaping up to be an easier looking game for us, but the Panthers have been playing much better of late.

I hope the Panthers players take this one lightly and not just the Panthers fans.

Miami has had the disrespect of every media outlet in America since Marino and Shula left the franchise.

Who gives a **** what a radio stations in the Carolina have to say. Every team this year that has faced the Dolphins has found out one thing, the Dolphins are not going to give up in a game or on the season.

This team could easily be 7-2 right now but a few bad breaks and 4-5. Let the Carolina fan base think they are up for a sure win. Let us see how that mentality works for them on Friday morning.

That's fine. Their strength on offense, the rushing attack, is our strength on defense. Top 5 run defense.

LOL at the idea of the panthers having to rely on Delhomme on thursday.

Honestly, it was nonexistant until about 4 weeks ago. Julius went on a 3 week rant where he was really disruptive and all over the place. But he is really the only guy on the line who can really get pressure. He is up and down and was invisible yesterday. Rookie Everett Brown is a situational speed rusher who shows up from time to time but thats pretty much it for the pass rush. The secondary is only as good as the pass rush in my opinion. In the Cover 2 that they run they depend on the front 4 to get pressure so the ball can come out quickly. But Thomas Davis' ability to cover the TE and move so quickly from sideline to sideline helped tremendously and there was a huge dropoff yesterday without him. Jon Beason is good but the other 2 LB's should get exposed as they did yesterday. Michael Turner had over 100 yards midway thru the 2nd qtr yesterday before he got hurt. Overall, the Panthers D is OK. They count on the Offense eating up clock with the running game.

BUT HEAR ME WHEN I SAY THIS: THEY HAVE THE WORST SPECIAL TEAMS KICKOFF & PUNT COVERAGE IN THE LEAGUE PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should win the field position game here hands down. I don't care how deep it's kicked,Ginn should run the ball out of the endzone. Rain is expected though so it may be a sloppy game.
