Figured I would spark up a conversation different from the chad henne and boring live updates from todays practice.


I know that Dolphins teal is a symbol of the team but I can't stand the teal pants. For some reason they remind me of the tights that robin hood wears. White pants go better with every possible jersey combination we have.

My personal favorite is white on white with the gray face masks.


Get rid of the teal pants all together!

what are your guys favorite outfit combinations?

2nd place are the orange jerseys (which should replace the teal ones) and white pants ...... now let me blow your mind ... orange face masks .... :dancing::dancing:
 
i think the aqua on aqua looks good. orange is cool but i wouldnt like it as an every game jersey
 
nub means while you can debate the shade of the color, it is actually called aqua.

But it's completely irrelevant to the post. No offense to Nub, but it's a pedantic comment... like 'color nazi'. :p

Anyway, I agree with the OP. I think the white/white combo is the best, I hate when they go away from it.

However, I absolutely abhor those orange jerseys. They need to die a fiery death.

it irks me and i know it bothers some others when posters routinely mislabel our team colors. how is that irrelevant to a post about uniform color combinations?
i actually enjoy the agua pants, reminds me of the marino years.

Yes, this has been a long running debate, but the Dolphins ACTUALLY wear teal, although we call ourselves Aqua and Orange.

Aqua is a very light blue/green while Teal is a darker blue/green. We wear the Darker blue/green, which is called TEAL.

The color to the bottom right of this color scale most resembles the color in our uniforms.

Irony. It is delicious.

Seriously, though... it's a freaking color. I call it 'green'. Like "yeah, I have a green Williams jersey, a white Marino...". I don't care about the actual, particular shade of color it is. If I wanted to dwell on whether it's 'aqua' or 'teal' or '****amamie' I'd go out with the missus more often ;)

You call it GREEN? Ok that's just an insult. If you're gonna totally mislabel this blue/green mixture, and least call it blue.

It is very much relevant to the post. The thread is about color combos for the Dolphins uniform. The official color used by the Dolphins is Aqua, not teal. The Jacksonville Jaguars wear teal.

I suppose I'm old school. The Dolphins wear green, orange and white. You can label them what you want, but when I ask someone to "pass me that _____ jersey", the word that comes to mind is "green". Sorry.
