Their is a nice article on www.foxsports.com about us picking Ryans brain and him not having a answer. Nice to see our FO looking at every angle and picking these rooks heads.

Actually, even though I'm not enamored with Ryan, I think his inability to answer reflects positively on his makeup. The question is about failure, and he just can't conceive of not making it. All the great QBs have that confidence about them.

But confidence can't substitute for ability. (I don't know whether he has franchise ability or not. That's Tuna and co.'s decision.)

Looks like he spent a good bit of time talking about how he "really hit it off" with the Jets....
Yeah, seems as though he already respects some of our rivals. Thats not necessarily good but he just wants the best for himself I guess and has to look at all teams and situations.

thats pretty cool story... i find it interesting and it got me thinking what if? and a if both matt ryan is available to the jets would they take him????

Well from the interview he talks as though we grilled him mostly on the chalk board and film room. That tells me they were concentrating on decision making and his ability to learn from mistakes. We seem to be enforceing our QB's to have supreme confidence from the McCown and Beck interviews and quotes and the same will be expected from the QB we draft.

I think the question was to see if he would reveal any weekness he percieved of himself, or maybe place the blame on others. I think he answered it right, if he indeed told the dolphins what he had written to us. I got the impression that he got stumped and didn't really answer the question for the dolphins, but came up with an answer to the question after. (And that is what he put in his arcticle.)

Guess they dont ask him hard enough questions like we do, or dont know how to interview. he hit it off with them because he blew our inteview

Wow, that blog is a waste of webspace. Just a way to hype yourself up.

Hey if I could get a contract worth over 30 million in potential earnings I would probably do the exact same thing. How much money did Brady Quinn lose last year? Over 20 mil wasn't it?

Not sure what exactly they were tryng to gauge about him. His confidence or maybe his over-confidence...

I'm curious as to how Zach or Jerry Rice would answer that. There is always something that you can improve on, that quote by socrates comes to mind...

He looks too much like Ryan Leaf.

Wait a second.....Matt Ryan Leaf???

Hmmmm, both QB's? Both top picks?

Say Chris Long, how do you feel about Miami and its beaches?

Yeah. Honestly.. what a horrible blog.

" What's your worst trait?! "

" I work too hard! "

OH MAN LOOK GUYS IM HUMAN TOO

talking with the Jets? dinner with the Jets? working out for the Jets?

f' him!! he obviously isn't serious about being a Dolphin!!

That's what all the wannabe NFL stars are doing until draft day. Get used to it.

The blog wasn't that bad. Sounds like he answered it O.K. I still hope we pass on him and pick up a Long. If Beck fails this year, (which I hope not) we will have a better chance at Tebow. Either way we win.
