Barring a Green Bay win vs. Carolina, if you look at the standings after week one you will see in every division exactly 2 winners and 2 losers. That is parity my friends, if only for a short while.

The NFL has been engulfed in parity the last 5-10 years. That's why there's always a team that sneaks into the super bowl when no one expects it (St. Louis...the first time, NY Giants, Carolina, New England...the first time) That's also why there are no dynasty's in todays game (Sorry NE, but you do not yet qualify), and there probably never will be again (I'm talkin TRUE dynastys, like the 90's cowboys 80's niners, 70's steelers, and 50's and 60's Packers)

Well, ah, don't half the teams half to lose?
Yeah but what is interesting is that there is no dominate division. Every division has 2 winners, 2 losers. It is spread out evenly. I think that is the first time that has ever happened.

I miss the dynasties.....

Just one example...Kansas City is supposed to make a serious run in the playoffs this year. They lost week 1 against a good team, made some good plays, but looked bad in a lot of areas as well.

.........Sounds alot like us.
