Would be nice if Tannehill and Parker lit it up this year!

7. DeVante Parker, Dolphins wide receiver: The No. 14 overall pick in the draft is back on the radar after returning from foot surgery to play in the preseason finale. Although Jarvis Landry appears to be locked in as Ryan Tannehill's go-to target out of the slot, Parker has a chance to bypass Greg Jennings and Kenny Stills as Miami's top outside receiver.

Barring another injury, I fully expect him to be a full time outside WR for us by week 6.

Parker has a chance to be special

Although I don't think Devin Funchess will be very good I think it's funny how they point out that Cam Newton throws errant passes often lol.

Don't get me wrong I like Parker a lot, but I don't think he has any chance to be OROY. ROY is ultimately a stat based award, so rookies that get the most touches will always win. Parker is currently our #4 or 5 wide out and looks to be a ways away from grabbing the starting job because of all the time he missed in training camp. By the time he gets up to speed and starts seeing more consistent playing time, guys like Abdullah and Cooper will have already racked up tons of yards putting Parker in too much of a hole to climb out of.

I expect him to have a slow start to the season, but to start picking up a lot of steam by the end of the year. He will definitely be a 2016 breakout candidate.

I don't expect him to win ROY mainly because I think Juice and Jordan are going to get a disproportionate number of targets in the offense. I believe that Matthews, Stills, and Parker will be rotated frequently to keep each of them fresh in the fourth quarter. If this thing plays out right, Tannehill will have an embarrassment of options on the outside when defenses have to figure out who to double up.

If trade him to the Bears for Kevin White and Chicago's #1 pick, which could be #1 overall. Starting in 2016, we'd be loaded it would be amazing. Miami is already loaded at WR, we could afford it.

At least in Madden you can turn off the injuries option and wouldn't have to worry about White's stress fracture and him possibly missing the entire season.

But hey, let's trade away our #1 picks this year and next.

One that trade would never happen and we are not that loaded. LAndry is damn good and will get better, Jennings is no longer a top flight wr. Without Landry our receiving corp gets quite average quick

I don't understand this need by fans here to trade away a WR.

As soon as a player gets injured or underperforms these will be the first people who will complain about not having depth.

Having a strong WR unit is great, its something few teams can match up with, the dumbest thing you could do is ruin it by trading away a player.

Just picked him up in my ffl. Everywhere I research says to pick him up now and stash him.
