I know I'm going to get roasted for even mentioning Landry but I don't give a care. If you watched the HBO training camp show this year, you obviously heard Landry's speech to the receivers. Now with Parker's latest "injury" I wonder if any of that is residual frustration.

It's a legit question. I don't think anyone has ever questioned Landry's toughness.

hell no, hes tougher than gabe wright, at least he attacked his teammate with the helmet on. and im sure all Landry has heard was hes only about money that's why he signed with Cleveland and so on, so that prob bothers him just a little of a fraction while he sits on his millions. plus he was on television, nothing in that rant had anything to do with the fins or DVP. maybe he had a speech like that in Miami, but the hard knocks was nothing to do with DVP or the fins

No, no one can question his toughness or drive at all. As far as the money, I can't blame anyone for taking the once in a lifetime payday either.

Don't confuse ppl thinking he wasn't worth 16 mil, for not liking the guy as a player.

Didn't he sign a contract that was similar to what was "reportedly" offered to him from Miami? If you include the no income tax, he took less money to play for the Browns.

You have a broken finger you have a broken finger, for a receiver at the start of the year, NO he shouldn't be practicing. Should be working on his routes and running his ass off but no point catching the ball until it's healed.

I liked Landry as a Fin but his antics wore thin by the end of the year with the Bills game capping it off. That and his demands were not reasonable for us made him a goner.

His passion will be missed but that's about it.

The problem is not with Landry, the problem has been with the decision-makers. The front office has made a habit of letting the young talent that develops leave while mismanage the salary cap.

Look at Rishard Matthews (who Tannehill had a 118 QB rating when throwing to him in 2015 and in the 80s when throwing to everyone else) in 2016 when they let him walk in FA and he signed with the Titans for bargain price of $5 mil per year. Then they spend a 3rd, 4th and 6th to draft Carroo, WTF?

Watched both episodes and hard not be impressed with Landry. We'll see how much this affects Tannehill's completion % and effectiveness not having him as main target.

I'm so over the silliness of the Parker finger injury and Landry is now the enemy.

I'm elated that Parker's injury is just a friggin finger. I also hope Landry gets Mike Wallaced in Cleveland and I hope Landry steps in dog pound **** when he steps out of his car opening day.

Juice knew the cameras were rolling, that's what that was about. JL like a lot of "me".

Not sure why you put the word injury in quotes, as though to suggest it's illegitimate. Parker broke a finger. Being soft or lacking passion is one thing but the man has a broken finger. Tough to play receiver with that. I will judge Parker by his regular season performance and nothing else.

Miami offered JL around $12 million per year. He's a slot receiver. That's a fair offer. He took the money. He has a massive ego and thinks he's a top five receiver. See ya.

Why Rishard Matthews is ever referenced I have no idea. Why because he was a seventh round pick that developed into a decent receiver? People would label him a bust if he'd been drafted in the first few rounds. The fact he got "only" $5 million tells you what other teams thought of him. He's had one year that stood out with nine TDs and he wasn't even a regular starter with the Titans that year. He's never had 1,000 yards receiving. Even Brian Hartline did that - TWICE.

EVERY team loses free agents. It takes two to tango and a lot of times players WANT to get to free agency.

Yes, Carroo looks like a "miss" but EVERY team misses on picks. Look at some of those Patriot drafts and see all the higher picked players that didn't pan out.

I'm actually encouraged by how well they have drafted lately. RB is a good example of why you don't have to re-sign all your free agents. Miami has shown the ability to find RBs and Drake might actually be one they want to keep on a second contract.

This is the deepest receiving corps MIami has had in years. Not top heavy but deep and solid. Again, you can find receivers and I think they have a good group to work with, even if they don't have an Alpha.
