I think that I am more disappointed with our D-line and linebackers than any other part of the team. I expected the O-line and offense in general to struggle and for our D-backs to be much more pedestrian than Davis was claiming. However, I expected our D-line to be on par with Detroit and some of the other dominant units. I expected it to be murder trying to run against the Fins and I expected constant pressure on the QB's but that couldn't be further from the truth. What is particularly embarrasing is that in every game, our opponent has run it down our throats in the fourth quarter and we can't stop squat! Absolutely NO run stopping or pressure on the QB with the game on the line. Are the Fins out of shape or have they just given up?
 
Frankly, Cam Wake will not be an effective weapon until the interior of the line starts getting some sort of push, and/or the other OLB "squeezes the pincer". Until then, he's just one double-teamed guy who's going to just sail right by the QB at "3 Mississippi" while he sips a latte and looks for whoever Reshad Jones should be covering...
 
My buddy and I always have this same discussion, if V. Davis was on anyyyy other team he would be up in the ranks of Revis and Namdi, same for Wake, Langford, Soliai, Bess, Dansby, and a whole bunch of our players. Has anyone noticed Clemmons and Jones do not seem to be improving, and that Dansby has actually declined in the 2 years he has been here. How do these all pro players like Marshall and Dansby suddenly suck? Its not that we have bad players, it falls down to developing players and proper coaching...this franchise will never be good until we find REAL coaches, not some fat turd who was an oline coach and was force fed to us by parcells.
 
Signs of a good coaching staff have players getting better year after year
How many players do we have that have gotten better since they were drafted??

How many free agents have come to this team and improved play???

A very very low percentage have actually improved

Sorry but this starts with the coaching by not teaching or motivating players
and ends with the players who become complacent.

It just boggles the mind on how many of our players have regressed
 
You make a very good point and now that you said that I notice that players come to Miami to get worse. Hey I wouldn't complain I'd they paid me a lot of money to work half a@@!
 
We mist have the worst coaching staff in all of football. This includes Nolan and I think we really messed up letting Crowder go. All this FO does is make the wrong moves
