I listened to the game on satellite radio, so I didn't get a sense of how good/poor our pass rush was tonight. I know Roth got a sack, but thats it.

Can those who watched the game please comment on the pass rush? thanks!
 
well, since we didnt have joey porter in the game, and we were missing holliday once again we did well.. roth got a sack on garrard but it took like an hour to get him down, ****ing guy is a beast. we hit the quarterback alot, so we had good rush.. garrard makes decisions pretty fast though, so I was happy with our minor production.
 
Porter did play and even though we only had one sack. Langford and Merling do a good job at pressuring the QB.
 
Joey Porter not only played, he moved to the weak side just like I'd been predicting and it really helped the defense.

The Matt Roth at SOLB experiment is becoming more than just an experiment, IMO. Joey Porter to WOLB was naturally the next step toward a permanence.

Porter played WOLB for the Steelers for like a decade over there. Miami bought him for $20 million and then moved him to SOLB, had him put his hand on the ground, etc...and we had disastrous results. With Jason Taylor gone, Porter can go back to the position where he became a Pro Bowler and Super Bowl winner...and Roth can step out to SOLB.
