Here is what the Denver Media thinks of Gus Frerotte and it's funny but what's up with their thinking about Sage? Nimble? LOL boy are they wrong...

Gus should prove them wrong!!!

Once he drops back and sets, Gus Frerotte may as well turn into a statue equipped with a stadium-sized slingshot.

Bad feet, great arm.

For the Broncos' newly revamped defensive front four, Frerotte presents an inviting, season-opening target. His strong arm, however, also will deliver a get-him-or-else challenge Sunday when the Broncos open their season against Frerotte and the Dolphins in Miami.

"When you have a quarterback who stands back there and doesn't run, it's definitely advantageous for bringing heat," said Broncos defensive end Ebenezer Ekuban. "Obviously more so him than say (Sage) Rosenfels, who has better feet and the ability to escape and make plays on the run."

"You like a quarterback who will stand up in the pocket to throw the ball," said Broncos defensive tackle Gerard Warren. "If it's a team like the Denver Broncos, it's hard to sack the quarterback because he's always moving. But our main focus is the run.

"Every week, every practice, every meeting, the focus is stopping the run. We're going to try to stop the run first and then after that, try to go after Frerotte."

Vernon Carey is going to have some fun taking the Cleveland Browns defensive line to school on Sunday afternoon.

LOL @ Sage be nimble, Sage be quick, Sage jump over AJ the lost number 2 pick.

Gus isn't exactly a statue. He moves around ok to avoid the rush. I hope the line gives him time and he just picks the Bronco's D apart all day.

Actually......... Frerotte moves around ALOT more than I though he did before he came to Miami. He's gotten out of the pocket on several occasions during the preseason, and he's shown much more mobility than I thought he had. Now as far as his accuracy while he's on the run is a differen't story, but the guy CAN move.

I am sure we will be seeing a lot of blitzes until Gus makes them pay for it.

Gus is not fleet of foot but he feels the pressure and is nimble enough to step out of the rush.

its all up to the OL to do its job and Gus just needs to be confident that he can hit his recievers in stride and know timing of his recievers. I expect to see some mistakes in that regard because I do not believe he is totally settled in with all the recievers.

I also believe we will throw alot of stuff at Denver that will make us look tons better than in preseason. Preseason is a joke.

What ??? Have you been watching the same Gus as I have this preseason ?? If the line gives any QB time, we'll do ok...but that's a big if...

if they blitz on every down we're in big trouble. Gus or no Gus our o-line sucks.

We will see some actual routes designed to take advantage of the blitz. Saban knows they will blitz, I say we will exploit it.
