if we don't get arrington, we need to draft a pass rushing olb, so i just looked at the olb available in the draft and found 2 interesting players that could be available in the 3rd round, if we draft a safety or wr in the 1st round and don't trade down for more picks...

Terna Nande

Position: OLB
College: Miami (OH)
Projected Round3

HEIGHT 6'0''
WEIGHT 232
40TIME 4.51

Pros: Great measurables... tremendously strong (41 reps), sub 4.5 speed, and a 36.5" vertical. Very good in pass rushing and coverage. Experienced player who knows his job and does it well.
Cons: Doesn't have ideal size, doesn't always show proper tackling technique, and has struggles reading plays at times. Still questions regarding him as an NFL prospect and how polished he is for the next level.

Draft Exchange Analysis:

Draft Exchange Analysis:
At Stanford: A fifth-year senior who has earned a reputation as one of the best and most athletic outside linebackers in college football ... what are your thoughts about them?

Alston could be a strong possibility in the 3rd. Smart kid with some explosiveness with his size. Good pick in the 3rd. I wish Howard from UTEP were to fall to the 3rd.

Alston thinks he can play either OLB or safety in the pros. He has the agility and instincts to do it.
