First in the Draft, and then in Free Agency..

Its seems, if Saban never recovers from this decision, he will be the second Dolphins victim of the curse of the Dolphin that never was..

Yeah but we have Joey Harrington, the former superstar from Detroit

Culpepper and Brees put up similar stats through week 4.

Our problem is not at QB, people.

The results dont show that.. Culpepper's stats were VERY misleading.. Ive never seen someone get stats like that while looking so terrible.

Yup, I could have a 60 percent completion percentage if all I threw were 5 yard dump offs.

I don't know any analyst, former coach analyst or sports reporter that hasn't mentioned that Culpepper was not playing well. As far as I've heard it's unanimous that Culpepper was playing bad.

It was obvious to me as well.

Culpepper goes out and then we were all hoping that Harrington would turn his game around now that he's in Miami but he seems like he'll just keep up his tendancies of making really bad mistakes with the ball.

QB IS a problem.
It's not the only problem but it is far from a strong point.

As of right now I can't argue with that.
Not to mention we could have gotten him without giving up the draft pick. Why I was so for us getting him over Culpepper.

Water under the bridge now.
We all have to hope Culpepper finds himself by next year.

And? No one's contesting that Culpepper isn't back to form, least of all me. But he was good enough behind this offensive line that he kept up statistically with Drew Brees, which kind of negates the whole "we should have gone with Brees" arguments.

I will consider QB a problem if and only if we fix the line and the QB cannot get the job done behind it. QB wouldn't even be an issue if this line could run block properly...

Look at what the Saints are doing with Drew Brees leading them. The so called Doctors that made the call on Brees screwed us big time.

You hit the nail on the head there.
The Dr's. that went against the opinion of one of, if not THE most respected Ortho's that work with the NFL, Dr. Andrews.

Don't just blame the doctors. The doctors are surely not the ones who made the MORONIC judgment that a shoulder injury for a QB is worse than a knee injury for a RUNNING QB. I'm assuming that because I would frankly call for every single coach and executive involved in letting a doctor make that call to be fired if they did leave that sort of football judgment to the doctors.

This isn't Madden where you can just have any player you want. Last I checked, Brees chose New Orleans, as he stated after driving through the parts worst hit by Katrina. It wasn't a case of us "passing on Brees". We clearly wanted Brees more than Culpepper because we pursued him more.

I hate to tell all you guys but we would still be 1-5 with Brees in there....the QB spot is the least of our problems.
